VS Note: From February. Normally I wouldn’t list a book with only one two-star review but that reviewer seemed to focus largely on a discussion of opinion re Cthulhu and Lovecraft mythos etc., with a few comments on the book itself. I looked at the “Look Inside” sample and the prose flowed pretty well, so here it is. As always, sample and decide for yourself! I have not read this book. I did express to the author that I would include the book in this week’s post but with basically this note and she was fine with that.
When Father Michel Emeric and Dr. Ray Benson warn young widow Kate Jacobs of occult danger stalking her, she dismisses them as deranged fanatics. The eerie disappearance of her four-year-old daughter, Sara, changes her mind. Ray and Father Mike rescue Kate’s child, but the fight has only begun. Dark powers from beyond our world want to destroy Kate and Sara and prevent the birth of a future child foretold to have extraordinary psychic powers and a destiny as a great warrior against evil. So many good ones today!!!!! Alpha and Omega is one of my favorite series. I’ve listened to them all on audiobook. Holter Graham is, once again, the narrator for the new one. He is one of the best.
