VS: Moving on in my Badari Warriors Backlist, next up is Landon. For this one, I had the opening in mind for a long time, where the Khagrish in the facility have died of the mountain fever and left their human prisoners trapped in the cells. I was also intrigued by the idea of what might happen if it wasn’t possible for the Badari to give his intended mate a blood transfusion…as always, I try to keep changing up the plot elements. And of course in this one the woman refuses the Badari, even though she loves him…lots of complications to resolve for the HEA!

VS Note: Continuing through my Badari Backlist, the next book is Reede, who was Aydarr’s second Enforcer. I thought it would be an interesting situation if a Badari resisted committing to his mate (for what he thinks are worthy reasons), much as he longs to be with her. I also thought it was time that the Sectors might have sent someone to investigate the call for help that was launched via fastlink back in JADRIAN’s book. There’ll be a direct sequel to this one at some point, possibly in mid 2021….

REEDE: A BADARI WARRIORS SCIFI ROMANCE NOVEL (SECTORS NEW ALLIES SERIES BOOK 9)

Lt. Fallyn Damara was sent by the Sectors to investigate a strange transmission from an isolated planet and determine whether the residents of a vanished colony had been transported there by alien enemies. Fallyn’s ship crashes and she’s taken prisoner by the Khagrish scientists, to await her fate in the slate of horrifying experiments being conducted.  

Reede, the second ranking enforcer in the Badari Warrior pack, volunteers to be recaptured by the Khagrish in an effort to locate and rescue Fallyn inside the deadly lab complex.

While a prisoner Reede discovers Fallyn is the woman destined to become his fated mate but the moment is bittersweet because Fallyn will be leaving their world at the first opportunity, to report back to the Sectors. He refuses to complete the mate bond, believing to do so will lead to nothing but lifelong misery for them both, separated by lightyears and interstellar politics.
