When hot, hunky aliens need to find a mate, they know right where to look: Earth. But let’s face it, not all Earth girls are easy. We prefer our guys—even our alien guys—to put in some serious effort. Good thing human men make it easy for them. Don’t miss your chance to binge-read this burning-hot collection of alien abduction-turned-seduction tales by New York Times, USA Today, and international bestselling authors.
After the week Nadzia had, she was on the verge of a mental breakdown. Learning aliens exist was freaky enough, let alone being chased and imprisoned by her own paranoid government. Then her baby sister decided to go live on a foreign planet, and her dad was nearly killed by a missile strike. It was enough to bring her to her knees. Aculus, a bone-armored warrior, proved to be her lifeline. He saved her more than once, and assured her he had the ability to heal her dad on his home world. Aculus even reunited her with the sister she thought died in a plane crash. Putting up with the hopeless flirt and total bonehead as they traveled across the cosmos was a small price to pay for such miracles. When Aculus met the delicate beauty, she was wounded and afraid, instantly inciting his protective side. But Nadzia swiftly put him in his place, making him laugh with her spirited retorts. Then he discovered she was the only one who could strip away his armor, revealing the male within. He should’ve been overjoyed to find the female every Osivoire male hunts for, his weakness; except the timing couldn’t be worse. Nadzia was courageous, but she’d need more than her brazen wit to survive, if the Conclave discovered she was his mate. Somewhere between Earth and Osi, amidst their sarcastic banter, Nadzia falls in love with Aculus. Is she brave enough to take a chance on love? Can she prove to Aculus and everyone else she’s more than some weak human? To hold onto the man she loves, Nadzia will have to dig deep and unleash her inner warrior.
There are about a million ways to end up in the Alien Bride Lottery. But all it takes is one. Every unmarried female human over the age of 21 gets entered once a year. You can also accept extra entries for legal infractions—instead of paying a parking fine, for example, you can request an extra entry. Lots of women do that. I mean, why not? The chances are astronomical that your name will get chosen to be one of the hundred or so women who get shipped off to space every year. And even if your name is drawn, the odds are slim that you’ll match up with an alien who’s looking for a mate. Most of the lottery-drawn women come back to Earth every year and resume their lives as if nothing changed. But some don’t. And no matter what, getting drawn in the Lottery means you have to compete in the Bride Games. Guess that’s where I’m heading now. I only hope I can avoid catching the eye of one of the giant, rainbow-hued brutes whose mission is to protect Earth—and who can claim me as a mate. All because I was Entered in the Alien Bride Lottery.
“Talk or suffer the consequences.” Ruthless warrior Grif McIntyre is known for his brutal interrogation techniques, his expertise with ropes, restraints, and unbearable pleasure unrivaled. A skill he learned too young from a monster even more merciless than he. Tasked with breaking a critical target, he assumes the mission will be no different from any other. But the female he captures is not what he expects. His fascination with her unlike anything he has experienced before. Captured and chained by a terrifying beast, Nayla knows her survival depends on her silence. But the way he handles her leaves her desperate to trust him with her body and her secrets. Maybe even her heart. Except he wants the one piece of information she cannot afford to give. Soon, it is only a question of who will break first.
Betty didn’t feel as if she fit in anywhere, not even with her family. She was lonely. If she dropped off the face of the earth who would notice? It wasn’t as if she had a plethora of friends, at least not close ones. She needed to upend her life and start over. Her whole world changed when aliens came to Earth looking for mates. She was seriously considering it. She would love to talk to someone about something other than hair products, makeup, and dating. So she made an appointment with the Earth Female Processing Center (EFPC). The irony of trying mate-matching to avoid talking about dating was not lost on her. What do Klaxian Cyborgs, Angels, Ursi (winged bears), Xaerds (weredragons), a Diphalian, an alien AI, and a Gryffin have in common? Betty What surprises does she have coming her way as they all get to know each other? Will she find her place in the universe? Will she find her wings?
VS Note: Not a romance.

1800s Hammersmyth. A city at the heart of the Great Steam Revolution. John Sinister, a man with friends in all the wrong places, is hired to look into some shady goings on at the airship factory. It might be nothing, but with the fortunes of the greatest inventor in the Britannic Empire at stake, you can bet John will do his best to get to the bottom of things (even if his best might generously be described as mildly shambolic). But when people start dying, and it looks like there might be a killer on the loose, John has to team up with Dexter, the world’s only walking, talking mechanical cat, to try and figure out what the hell is going on. He’d rather not, but it doesn’t seem to be up to him. Dexter is going to make sure this “lazy sack of meat” does the job he was hired for if it’s the last thing he ever does. With secret societies, arrogant aristocrats, and criminal chocolatiers to contend with, John and Dexter are going to have to keep their wits about them if they’re going to come out of this alive. And if John happens to fall in love with his employer’s daughter along the way, well nobody said catching a killer was going to be easy now did they?

VS Note: Quite a different concept. Not a romance. I will say though that a reference early on in the sample to the heroine learning all about dinosaurs from an archaeologist kinda put me off. Yeah, they don’t study dinosaurs. But the book has pretty good reviews and…dinosaurs.
After an unexplained event shifted entire cities millions of years into the past, life has become a daily struggle for survival. Rogue, tenacious and fierce, has never known anything except a harsh life on the streets of Prime City until she finds herself on the wrong side of the law… and the wall. Nothing could have prepared her for the outside…Exiled, unarmed, and alone, she faces a perilous journey into a savage prehistoric world. With nothing except her wits she sets out into the unknown. Can she find a way to survive or will the primordial land claim another victim?
I am owned. All humans are. We are kept as pets by various species of aliens who think we are no better than animals. Usually, being underestimated works in my favor. But right now, it’s doing nothing for me at all. I’ve been scooped up and put in the human pet pound. I’ve escaped my owners a dozen times, and I’ll keep doing it until I find the one alien master whose leash I can’t slip. A master whose collar I might even take pride in wearing. Just kidding.
There’s not a male anywhere in the universe capable of keeping me as his pet. Not even this hardened warrior with an appendage the size of, well…It doesn’t matter, does it? Because I’m going to escape him too.
I’m such a klutz. Only I could manage to tumble into an interdimensional portal and end up lightyears from home. To make matters worse, I dropped right into the strong arms of a horned, growly, hot alien king who treats me like I’m his personal baby factory. His name is Wranar, and he claims I’m going to save his species and that I’m his fated mate. I don’t think so. I just want to get back home. In order to do just that, we have to travel across half this harsh alien planet. On foot. Oh, and we have to share our body heat to survive the blisteringly cold nights. That means cuddling up with the tattooed, scarred, muscled alien king. It means feeling his strong, protective arms around me. It means listening to him whisper sweet alien words into my ear when he thinks I’m sleeping. Like I could sleep with his rock-hard package all up in my nethers. If we don’t hurry up, I might just end up falling hard for this alien warrior — and I can’t let that happen. I’ve felt what he’s packing. He’ll destroy me. I have to resist him. No matter how hard it is.
VS Note: A re-release…
The human composed a song in his heart, a pull he couldn’t ignore, a draw that demanded further exploration—
When he answered a distress call, L’Den hadn’t expected to find one of the Invaders waiting for him. The tug he feels on his soul is even more surprising, drawing him closer to the woman, in spite of her humanity. Both his second-in-command and A’rch, his companion mogha, seem fine with leaving her behind and letting the desert deal with the problem, but he’s not so sure.
Tessa has spent the last two years hoping for a way off the harsh desert planet where her research vessel crashed, watching her friends die one-by-one, and befriending a strange creature of the sand. But when a rescue ship does arrive, she realizes she might have been better off lost. The Korthans, savage aliens bent on the destruction of humankind, aren’t happy to find her. And yet, despite her fear, she can’t deny the pull she feels towards one of them. Korthans only have one chance to find a true mate, but chasing after the human could risk the safety of the colony he’s sworn to protect. Even though the call of a mating bond demands a higher loyalty, L’Den never expected to have to choose.
Chained to an altar. Sacrificed to a beast. A rift in the fabric of space and time left me stranded on a desolate alien world. But the beast that is coming to claim my body is the stuff of ancient legends and nightmares. Leathery wings. Curving talons. Fiery breath. Lucky for me, this dragon doesn’t want to eat me alive. He’s got something else in mind. Something unspeakable. Back at his cave, he reveals his other form: seven feet of ripped muscle and dominance, and that’s not including his horns. He says I am his now. His atma. His fated mate. He says he’s going to lock me away in his mountain fortress for eternity, a human toy to use for his pleasure. To punish as he sees fit. To carry his dragon spawn. Remember when I said lucky for me? I’m thinking I spoke too soon.

She needs to see her home and what’s left of the world she left behind before she can even consider beginning a new life anywhere else. Once on Earth, there are obstacles at every turn working against them. Will they be able to overcome all they face and find their way to each other?
Keya was called to investigate an abandoned ship. She was told not to go inside. But when she realized the ship was a relic from the Outworlds, she had to see for herself. Too bad she didn’t take into account that there were beings from the wrong side of space that could avoid thermal scans. Note to reader: This is a 90-minute fast pace short story. Perfect for the woman on the go.
VS Note: Okay I had to have this despite it being pricey and hardcover. “Aliens” is my all time favorite movie (except for the days that “Ever After” is) and I like to say my own scifi romance novels are like “Aliens” but with a lot more romance and a lot less gore. I always love “making of”, behind the scenes stuff…Hicks and Ripley….sigh.
As one of the most highly regarded movie sequels of all time, Aliens quickly embedded itself in the minds of cinemagoers around the world when it was released in 1986. Driven by the singular vision of director James Cameron and guided by producer Gale Ann Hurd, its relentless action and unforgettable characters helped cement its place as an undisputed classic of 1980s cinema.
The Making of Aliens tells the complete story of how Cameron and Hurd, together with their immensely talented cast and crew, brought heroine Ellen Ripley back to the big screen–and upped the stakes by introducing a whole army of aliens for her to face. Interviews with the cast and crew, alongside revealing photography and fascinating concept art, illustrate the film’s eventful journey from its beginnings as a sequel that nobody wanted to make through to its transformation into one of the highest-grossing blockbusters of the decade.

There’s nothing good for me on this godforsaken planet, except for N’Ashtar, the alien prince who makes me yearn. How can I crave him when it goes against everything I’ve ever known? I have no time for a pale weakling …I need to prove myself as next in line for chief. As acting war chief, it’s my duty to take on the Caterri. I can’t waste time thinking about a mate, especially not if she’s a skinny, useless human. But Dana isn’t as useless as the others, and she awakens long dormant desires that I can’t ignore. Protecting my people has to be my number one priority. But how can I do my duty when the only one I want to protect is her?
VS Note: I hadn’t seen this series before but you know me and dystopian, plus it is a romance, so I went back and bought book one.

VS Note: Book 2 in this series is still one of my all time favorite novels in this genre. I wasn’t as crazy about book 3 and book 4 is waiting on my kindle but I one-clicked this one…I’m very invested in one of the three groups of survivors but not so much the other two.
Three groups of survivors have found each other during a pandemic that is changing the world and everything they once knew. Rescuing Jamie and Elijah is first up on their combined agendas. Banding together seems like the best idea, but will they be able to put aside their differences and work together toward a mutual need to survive.
This reality TV dating show is like nothing I’ve ever been on. For starters…the dude is an alien! I mean, at first I thought they just had great sets and killer CGI, you know? I should have realized that when the outside looked like space it wasn’t just a prop. I really had been knocked out and brought to mate with a Kaleth warrior. No one on Earth really knows aliens exist. The rest of the galaxy, though, eats up all our human culture. So now I have an 8-foot tall warrior that’s made of 450 pounds of muscle. A dude with the blood of countless enemies on his hands. And he’s asking me if I’m a “Carrie” or a “Samantha”. But wait, it gets better. Someone is trying to use me and my warrior to cause the death of billions of innocent lives. We’ll have to work together to stop them. Maybe build a love that’ll beat back all the darkness. Oh gosh…This would have been a great TV show if it wasn’t real, huh?

What if Wonderland was in peril and Alice was very, very late? Alice is different than other eighteen-year-old ladies in Kexford, which is perfectly fine with her. She’d rather spend golden afternoons with her trusty camera or in her aunt Vivian’s lively salon, ignoring her sister’s wishes that she stop all that “nonsense” and become a “respectable” member of society. Alice is happy to meander to Miss. Yao’s teashop or to visit the children playing in the Square. She’s also interested in learning more about the young lawyer she met there, but just because she’s curious, of course, not because he was sweet and charming. But when Alice develops photographs she has recently taken about town, familiar faces of old suddenly appear in the place of her actual subjects-the Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter, the Caterpillar. There’s something eerily off about them, even for Wonderland creatures. And as Alice develops a self-portrait, she finds the most disturbing image of all-a badly-injured dark-haired girl asking for Alice’s help.Mary Ann. Returning to the place of nonsense from her childhood, Alice finds herself on a mission to stop the Queen of Hearts’ tyrannical rule and to find her place in both worlds. But will she able to do so . . . before the End of Time?

And so he made that happen—took her to his home and claimed every part of her in the raw, animalistic way of his kind. She might’ve thought this was a one-off night of pleasure… but she was wrong. He wasn’t letting her go, especially not now that she carried his baby.

Just when I think things can’t get any crazier…I found out why I can talk to animals and monsters. I met my father and I wasn’t quite expecting his answers. But he does command several legions of demons and he’s working on getting more to help us overthrow Demeter. We’re going to need all the help we can get because I don’t have enough of Hephaestus’s powder to free every single monster in the pits from being trapped in their monster form by those collars. My monsters, the ones I’ve gotten to know, can change back to their human form now and they want their revenge on Demeter. They want to save their queen, Persephone. I wasn’t expecting to be brought in on this, but I’m involved now. Even Hephaestus has snuck into the Underworld to help us. I guess all the unloved Gods and monsters are going to have to go up against a deranged Goddess with Olympus on her side. I’m not a monster or a God. I’m only half demon. But now that my father knows about me, we may have the help of Hell on our side. I didn’t ask for this, but there’s just something about these monsters that makes me want to help them. It doesn’t hurt that they are all drop dead gorgeous and horrible flirts. I can even overlook that Pavlina and Tryphon like to eat people.

Fate has it in for me. She’s sent a human vet to stay in the bunkhouse. With me. I might not have the wolf scent, but I have the hearing. I learn she’s a virgin. I offer her two weeks. Two weeks where I’ll show her a large animal. One she can’t resist. Or at least one who can’t resist her. I’ll prove she doesn’t know everything about four-legged beasts. Especially not the fiercest ones who stalk their prey in the night. Especially not one determined to prey on her. Me.
“She was just another assignment, but what happens to this cocky Werewolf when she turns out to be so much more?” Conall Truman loved being single. As one of the Alpha’s Wolf Guard he had plenty of danger and excitement in his life. And when the need called for it, he had his pick of names in his little black book to satisfy any carnal cravings. Even his own Wolf was starting to get ideas about finding a female, but he put the brakes on that train of thought. And fast!
Being tied down to one woman was simply not for him. But fate has other ideas when he’s assigned to rescue a Wolf from another Pack and she turns out to be more than just an important dignitary. Imagine his shock when the fiery woman with the curvaceous body and sassy mouth that was just begging to be kissed doesn’t want to be mated? The bad boy might be her fated mate, but Elia was done cowering to the men in her life. If this Wolf Guard wanted her, he was going to have to work for it.

Do not read this book. No, seriously, I have absolutely no idea why one was even written about my life. This is ridiculous. Not only did I live in the middle of nowhere in a drug infested town, under the roof of a trailer that was literally collapsing on itself… but nothing, and I mean, nothing interesting has ever happened to me. Well, unless you counted being abandoned outside of a motel, picked up by my new foster father that was always too high to remember my name, or spending the last six years traveling the United States practically homeless. Oh! Let’s not forget to include the jerk that I really needed to break up with because let’s face it… he had actually started to scare me. A lot. I’d spent the last six years of my life feeling horribly out of place. Feeling like I was not only in a time that didn’t fit me but in a place that was so lackluster that I had issues believing it was real. So when I tell you not to read this book? I mean it. There is nothing of interest in here. I promise.
Well, I suppose there was one memorable and interesting moment in my recent past… the night of my eighteenth birthday. You know, the one where my four hot neighbors, and known criminals, kidnapped me onto a river boat. You could say I was confused when I found myself falling asleep floating down a Missouri river… and waking up to marmalade skies and a talking river otter with a hot pink top hat. None of that confusion, though, compared to when my four psycho kidnappers made me remember everything I’d forgotten. Because I had been right, I didn’t fucking belong here. I belonged in the Kingdom of Snark.

As Jude, Keeper of the Order of the Last Light, returns home in disgrace, his quest to aid the Prophet is complicated by his growing feelings for Anton. Meanwhile, the assassin known as the Pale Hand will stop at nothing to find her undead sister before she dies for good, even if it means letting the world burn. And in Nazirah, Hassan, the kingdom-less Prince, forms a risky pact to try to regain his throne. When the forces of light and darkness collide in the City of Mercy, old wounds are reopened, new alliances are tested, and the end of the world begins.

The men of the Rolling Thunder MC take care of their own, and that includes employees. When Kitty finds herself in a jam, she calls on Squatch for help — not because she thinks he’ll be able to help her more than the other bikers, but because she trusts him the most. Squatch has always been partial to the little tiger shifter who dances like liquid sex onstage, yet is so bashful when she isn’t working, but the unspoken code is that the brothers don’t date their employees. However, while Squatch helps Kitty with her little problem, the two spend more time together than either anticipated, and sparks fly between the tiger and the wolf. But Kitty has a history she didn’t share with the bikers when they hired her, and when her past catches up to her, she doesn’t trust even Squatch enough to ask for his help. She thinks her only option is to run, but she doesn’t know wolves mate for life, and Squatch’s wolf has claimed her.
Worshipped for centuries, these furry killing machines use cunning, guile, and raging ambivalence to get their way.

From that night forward, Elizabeth has been part of her, ever a step ahead. However, the dark one grows impatient. Taking over modern Earth presents certain annoyances for a vampire army, like mortals with access to nuclear weapons. However, an alternate world much like ours from 2,000 years ago would be defenseless against her. Temptation proves too great; Elizabeth abandons Earth, bent on repeating the war of domination that sent her to the void a thousand years ago. Earth may be safe—for now—but Sam cannot stand by and let her enslave an entire dimension. With her daughter, son, and Max at her side, she seizes a rare opportunity to catch Elizabeth off guard. Now all she has to do is survive.

Amateur sleuth, PI in training, ghost whisperer. That’s me. Audrey Fitzgerald, ghost detective. I’m finally coming to terms with the fact that I can not only communicate with ghosts, but animals too. Well, one in particular, my big gray teddy bear of a cat, Thor. What I haven’t worked out yet is how to keep my newfound abilities a secret from the townsfolk of Firefly Bay. After all, how hard could it be to find a missing piece of jewelry? Things turn complicated real fast when the necklace turns up in the most unexpected of places and my client turns up dead. Now I’m up to my neck in ghostly chatter, I have a murder to solve, my PI exams are looming, I’m worried I may have to put Thor on a diet, and I think I’ve accidentally fallen for Captain Cowboy Hot Pants—aka, Detective Kade Galloway. But worst of all? What on earth do I put on my business card without scaring off the townsfolk? Amateur sleuth, PI in training, ghost whisperer, or ghost detective?

But they underestimated me. I don’t just endure pain – I make it. And the people who tried to hurt my family? They’ll suffer for what they’ve done.

Hunter James was my grandfather. He wanted to end the cycle of war, but instead he broke the world. Demons, vampires, and monsters poured through the Rift into our dimension. The Magi emerged from humanity’s shadows and fought the Rifters, eventually forging an uneasy peace. For most humans, demons, and Fae, magik and technology are totally incompatible. But some mages are able to manipulate mechanical and electrical devices. They are called magiteks. My name is Danica James. I’m a magitek and a cop with the Arcane Division. My job is to protect humanity from the monsters. Sometimes the monsters are human.

Gulielmus wanted cake, not a quest, but when everyone’s favorite elf queen doesn’t arrive at a party, he jumps at the opportunity to go fetch her. Small talk is so tedious, and social relationships are such a pain to maintain. Of course, Clarissa Morton can’t just go missing—she has to vanish into a post-apocalyptical realm where the husband she left for dead a thousand years ago still reigns. It seems the curse she weaved way back then has come back to torment her…just like her ex. Clarissa would never escape alive a second time if the king had his way. Now Gulielmus is trapped with her in a dimension where fallen angels have no power and elves have magic he can’t understand. Working cooperatively with the secretive woman to escape the place is an impossible task, and jarringly, the magic of the realm makes the true nature of their connection clearer. Returning immediately to the human world is their utmost priority, but…maybe the forced proximity isn’t the worst possible thing for the long-quarreling duo. Perhaps they can finally put the past behind them and accept that they weren’t meant to journey alone. Magic doesn’t make sense, so why should love?

It takes more than blood to be a dragon. You have to fight for everything you want in this world, then fight to keep it because there will always be someone that tries to take it away from you. In a world of nothing but predators, the only way to the top is to claw your way there. You have to be the monster other monsters fear. Ezra’s spent her life in hiding, but that all comes crashing down when three men fleeing for their lives bring the very trouble her family has protected her from to her door. Fight or flight, it all comes down to one very important question. Why settle for something as mundane as simply existing when you have the potential to be so much more?

But one thing he never intended to be was imprisoned by angry werewolves. Maybe casting that love spell on the sexy alpha pack leader wasn’t such a great idea after all. Matthew Armitage has a problem. Several of them, actually. And the biggest one is Arik. The shaman can’t be trusted. He’s dangerous enough to get the entire pack killed. Matthew knows that. But knowing doesn’t make it any easier to keep his mind (and hands) off Arik. Surely everything he’s feeling is a side effect of the spell…right? It’s not long before enemies of the pack start circling—including one intent on claiming Arik as his unwilling mate. If they have any hope of surviving, Arik and Matthew will need to work together. And if they want a shot at happily ever after…well, they’ll just have to cross that bridge when they get to it. If they get to it.

I check and verify all the buy links at the time I create the post but after that I’m not responsible.
