I worked hard to come up with a situation where the human woman would be in love with the Badari Warrior but refuse him, and what all the ripples would be. (There’s an HEA of course!) Gabe, of course… I also had had the opening sequence in mind for a long time with the human prisoners trapped in their cells in a lab full of dying Khagrish. It’s quite dystopian!
