If My Badari SciFi Gladiators Were Anime They’d Look Like This

I love chibis, those cute manga and anime characters with oversized heads, big eyes and attitude. I can’t show the Egyptian chibis yet, not before the Kickstarter kicks off but after I finished getting all of them done, I wanted MOAR! Yes, I’m now a chibi addict. So I decided to do my Badari Gladiators and their mates. I have a wonderful artist for the gladiator series (he’s doing my alien empath series now) Hema Hemo, who I found on Fiverr.

Here’s a brief note about the series (full details of each book on the series page here on my blog if you haven’t read them yet!:

VS: A spinoff series from my best selling Badari Warriors. In the novel LANDON, I made the point that there had evidently been some of the genetically engineered soldiers smuggled off the planet in the past and sold in the galaxy’s rough and tumble, lawless Hinterlands as gladiators. This series explores the fates of some of these men, from earlier generations, not the Generation 8 Badari who appear in the main series (although there may be a crossover novel at some point).

I hope you’ll enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoyed the process of having them drawn. We’re considering selling them as stickers when we get our online store set up but no decision yet.
