New Releases in #SciFi and #Fantasy Romance for Wednesday January 4

diffractionI have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts LOL) and as always I recommend sampling before you buy!

It’s a mix of the genres in no particular order. Also the term “new” is generally plus or minus a week or two. And I catch up on ones I missed in recent months.

(NOTE: If the author provides me with buy links I insert those; otherwise I default to Amazon and iBooks. Pricing and availability are current as of the day I prepare the post – things can change fast in the ebook world LOL.)

Also, I usually include only the beginning of the book blurb…

VS NOTE: I’ve really enjoyed this series.

After his unusual reaction to a weapon, Commando Varean Donnelly is accused of being a shape-shifting alien and imprisoned onboard the Imojenna. Imojenna doctor Kira Sasaki knows there’s something different about the handsome commando the captain’s thrown in their brig…

its-youIT’S YOU, BOOK ONE by Katy Regnery
the most beautiful boy in the world kissed me.

I’ve never been able to forget.
Perhaps it was his jet-black hair,
or the changing copper-color of his eyes,
the intense way he looked at me…
or the fact that he awakened my passion for the first time,
at once otherworldly yet heartbreakingly real.
But after that kiss, I never saw him again.
His name was Jack Beauloup.
Jack, my “Beautiful Wolf.”
Twenty years passed.
He has returned.
For me.

    • True. I don’t even try to include all the new paranormal releases unless it’s an author I love, or the premise is interesting, or there’s some other good reason (like the book appearing in the Top 10 on Amazon for either SFR or Fantasy on the day I compile the post) for listing them. I just can’t cover it all, I’ve learned, and the scifi romance is my priority, followed by fantasy romance. But some paranormal does get added in on occasion!

      • I have a new one out today, too… but… as you say, it’s PNR about dragon shifters. It ended up being slightly scifi since it’s set in Moscow in 2046. Somehow I tend to end up with genre mashups that are fun for me, but it makes fitting into marketing categories somewhat challenging. 😀

  1. To Tmycann: you can always send me the info. I try to list books within a week or two of their release, and as I said, I slot in paranormal on occasion, when I can. Best wishes with the book!

    • Aww, that’s a bummer but many thanks for letting me know! I doublechecked and deleted the book from my post. All I can say is that it was live at the time I prepared the post because I verify each book as I go. But things do change fast in the ebook world!

  2. Veronica, you must stop this blog. Every Wednesday, I read about more books and my finger keeps clicking on the links. Bad, bad, bad. For my budget. Way too good for my reading habit. You are aiding and abetting my addiction to good books. You have to stop this. 🙂
