I see literally thousands of book covers in my chosen genres every year while putting together the weekly New Releases Reports. Yet certain covers linger in my memory. Continuing my annual tradition, here are the most memorable-to-me covers for scifi romance, fantasy and paranormal romance, plus PNR cozies and steampunk for 2021. Presented in alphabetical order. Nothing scientific in my methodology! Just my personal opinion, based on whether the cover stood out to me and then remained fresh in my memory.
For Science Fiction Romance:
FANTASY – Please note that there’s a lot of overlap in whether books are classified by the authors in Fantasy or Paranormal. I went by the Amazon classifications primarily.

It takes me two solid days to do (well not working 8 hours a day LOL) but I enjoy doing it and I think it’s a worthwhile thing to support the genre communities. It’s just my personal take on memorable covers but I do see an awful lot of them in a year so I think it has some validity. And gives authors a chance to provide their cover artists with some recognition too, in the social media. So, a win-win-win! Glad you enjoyed the post!
