It ends on a HFN note but I have a feeling the next books in the series will be bringing them big problems to solve. It almost felt like a cliffhanger but it wasn’t specifically. I’ll definitely be reading book two whenever it comes out. Dystopian romance.

VS: The next book in my STAR CRUISE series is STAR CRUISE SONGBIRD, which is my scifi rockstar romance., It’s a genre I absolutely love, so I had a great time writing my own. I did a ton of research watching documentaries about current pop stars and concerts to help me figure out my heroine Karissa Dawnstar. The hero is a nod from me to Andre Norton’s Beast Master, which is a book I adored – he’s retired Special Forces, with a trained war eagle from his home planet. Valkyr the eagle and Lully the songbird are an important part of the overall story. (This novella first appeared in the PETS IN SPACE 2 anthology.) How these two disparate people come together on the luxury cruise liner Nebula Zephyr and what happens next was fun to write.
Here’s the blurb: Grant Barton, a Security Officer on the Nebula Zephyr, is less than thrilled with his current assignment to guard an Interstellar singing sensation while she’s on board the ship.
