After being kidnapped by aliens, nearly rescued, and then snatched back by my captors, I don’t have much hope of getting rescued again. Still, I’m determined to fight back on my own, to break free and find some way off this horrible planet. But when I’m put up for auction, my heart nearly stops when I see him in the crowd—the bronze-skinned alien who tried to free me before. What is he doing here? Why did he come back? My instinct is to assume the worst. Maybe he returned because he wants to steal me for himself. Maybe he plans to use me just like every other alien has. But he keeps helping me. He keeps protecting me. And every time he does, it gets harder and harder to deny the truth.
This alien warrior may be the hero I need… and a temptation I can’t deny.
Can Meredith and Chowd survive the politics and war, or will secrets tear them apart? Meredith Gentry is a woman with a mission. Her task, to decode all the files and communications found on the Alpha Star Colony, is made far more difficult by the proximity of the man who makes her yearn for love. Chowd knows he’s different. He’s an alien-human hybrid, one of very few. Those differences always kept him apart—except on the Elector. Until now he’s accepted that…mostly. When Meredith is sent to work on the Elector, the differences that should keep them apart don’t seem to matter—yet it’s Chowd’s heritage that threatens to destroy the fragile peace between the humans and Ru’Edan. With so much on the line, is there truly a way these two lovers can be together? Especially when Chowd’s heritage is exposed.

Now, I want more of what I see in these memories. Tor says he can help me, but can I trust him? If I do, I’ll finally know the secrets of my past. But doing so means risking my entire future.

After the death of her abusive mother, young Gandry Queen Tirra must return to her old tribe to save the lives of her mother’s mates, who are dying without her. She and her sisters, Senri and Barqa, attempt the impossible: Bonding males who are already Bonded to another. It’s the only way to save them, though it’s not what the sisters wanted for themselves. As the oldest sister, Tirra takes the oldest males, including Coron, a stern and severe white-furred male. When she was a child, she disliked Coron and loved to pester and torment him. Now, she needs him to teach her how to mate, before time runs out. Together, they discover a power dynamic that works for them, even though it is the opposite of the relationship a Queen should have with her Bonded male. This is a 28,000 word novella that features an alien/alien couple that love only each other, though Tirra has a second Bonded male she doesn’t have a romantic relationship with. Coron was previously mated to Tirra’s mother, but there is no blood relation, though he treats her like a Daddy should treat his Princess. This novella follows on from Krol’s Goddess, Book 5 in the main Gandry/Ruth & Gron series. Ruth’s tribe will not feature, only Mirr’s tribe, but it would be better to read them together, not as a stand-alone.

Last year, Javier Medina was your average socially awkward gay high schooler with a chip on his shoulder. This year, he’s…well, pretty much the same, but with bonus superpowers, a costume with an ab window to show off his new goods, and a secret identity as the high-flying, wise-cracking superhero Blue Spark. But being a Junior Hero means that Javier gets all the responsibility and none of the cool gadgets. It’s hard enough working for the Legion of Liberty and fighting against the evil Organization, all while trying to keep on top of school work and suspicious parents. Add in a hunky boyfriend who’s way out of Javier’s league, and an even hunkier villain who keeps appearing every time said boyfriend mysteriously disappears, and Blue Spark is in for one big dollop of teenage angst. All while engaging in some epic superhero action and, oh yeah, an all-out battle to protect Liberty City from the forces of evil. Welcome to the 100% true and totally unbiased account of life as a teenage superhero.
Being called to become part of a Gaspiel is an honor, a chance to serve in the war against the Fol’Minites and to protect the K’Stollians’ world. Four men are required to form the four-point star, each one controlling a different element of their warship—navigation, weapons, engine, and the captain. But the most important element and hardest to find is their fifth, their Visl—their strength.
When Ensign Sienna Pratt finds out she is called to be a Gaspiel, she sees it as an opportunity to learn about a system no one knows anything about, and she agrees. She knows the K’Stollian ships are different. They don’t run on fuel, have no material for weapons, they are completely bio-dispensing organisms. Basically, the ships convert the endorphins released during sex into power to run their systems, and that’s where Sienna would come into play. Not knowing exactly what she’s signing up for, she’s willing to take the risk to help the people and the planet. But when it comes time to fulfill her obligations, can she give herself over? The crew quickly learns that Sienna is not your average Visl, and she will not take things lying down. She is not merely there to service the men, she’s determined to prove her worth. The war has been raging for centuries, but now it’s a battle for the K’Stollians’ existence. Someone is sabotaging them and wants to wipe out their entire species, but who? The Gaspiel know there is strength in numbers, but whom can they trust? To make matters worse, rule number one is not to let your emotions become involved, but when it comes to the four males who’ve claimed her body, that quickly proves impossible.
A professional assassin, Zaxe’s job is to kill his target—Helldrick—and get out. This final mission will repay his debt to the king of Gravas and allow him to finally claim his freedom. Being a mixed-race bastard, Jamaeh’s life has never been easy, but she’s carved out a living as a trader. Her entire life, she’s protected her brother. Now he’s missing and Helldrick is to blame. Her goal is to find her brother and bring him home. She and Zaxe join forces, each with their own agenda. Danger and secrets from the past threaten to come between them, while their sizzling attraction further complicates the situation. Will mistrust drive them apart or will love save them both?
The Hunter. Adiya Yamma had one goal: Find a male and mate him. As the unexpected heir to her mother’s legacy, she would do anything to thwart her sister’s plan to usurp the role and overthrow her leadership. The plan was simple. Enter the illegal hunting game, claim one of the frail humans as her mate and secure her rule. What she didn’t intend, was to find a man who satisfied her needs and wants beyond her every desire. The Prey. One night Ben Browder was in the Afghanistan mountains and the next he was on an alien planet with eight other abductees trapped in a survival game. As a Marine, Ben didn’t expect to have any problem completing all three levels of The Hunt and earning his ticket back to Earth. Then an injury sidelines him and Ben has no choice but to make a bargain with an alien huntress determined to claim him as her own. Agreeing, Ben knows there’s more than one way to win and he’s about to prove he’s more than a muscled enforcer.
Humans made a deal with the Stryxian males: Help us defend Earth, and when the war is over, we’ll send you women to help rebuild your dying species. Now, the war appears to be over and Trinity Bentzer’s number has been called in the lottery. Only, instead of winning a boatload of money, she’s getting some badass winged alien she’s never met. Trin’s not thrilled to be shipped off and matched up, until she meets Raig. Maybe she hit the jackpot, after all. Commander Raig Thanor’s job is to supervise the females’ move to their holding chambers until they are sent to their settlements to find mates, but the moment he meets Trinity, he knows she’s his. If only claiming her didn’t risk sparking a war within his own people.
VS: Kind of mixed reviews.
Kainn – I crossed the stars to find her. I defy my elders to keep her, but a fated mate bond cannot be denied. I am Kainn, the last hope of my people, and I cannot fail. I’ve taken her from her world of abundance and freedom, and she calls me her captor. Maybe one day, she will look at me with something other than anger and hate, but regardless, I cannot let her go, even though I’ve brought her to a planet gripped by war. A war which I am losing Ava- A being like a nightmare hunted me through the forest. Man or beast, I cannot escape him. He has taken me and imprisoned me, telling me that I am fated to be his. When I learn I’ve inherited a house in Salem, I’m sure it’s a mistake. Besides, I have zero desire to return to a town where I’m an outcast. The surprises continue when I meet my tenants, including a broody vampire and a foodie wolf shifter. But I’m only staying around long enough to sell my long lost aunt’s house. Forget her uncontrollable magic… She’s dealing with uncontrollable lust. Eh, control is overrated anyway. Anyone judging Tiffany Ufora by her cover would undoubtedly think the goth witch was a necromancer–and that’s fine by her. There isn’t a shade of black that’s dark enough for her taste. But much to her dismay, Tiffany’s particular brand of magic has a habit of spitting out oodles of the most adorable fluffy, pastel-colored critters at the most inopportune times. Mortified by her joyful magic, Tiffany does her best to control the uncontrollable. Which only makes things worse. And it doesn’t help when her dad hears about her poor grades at Othercross University and cuts her off financially–forcing her to get a job, of all things. Her salvation comes in the form of a burly, bearded, lumberjack of a vampire, who also just happens to be a new professor at OCU. When he offers to tutor her–for free, no less, which is about all Tiffany can afford–she jumps at the chance. It doesn’t hurt that Nero is sweet, gentle, and not at all what one would expect from a vampire. He’s also dangerously sexy. And completely unavailable. Not that she’s interested or anything. Because Tiffany has her sights set on someone else anyway, though the question of whether the other guy wants her is still up in the air–along with the dozen or so lovebirds flitting around her head. You know, the ones that appear when Nero smiles at her. Argh!

But they’re weighing everything on the slim chance that Benjamin can find an old friend, a soul trader named David Jones. Only…that was over a hundred years ago, and Dianna fears the journey will be a dead end. With no known Viking portals leading to the Caribbean, the crew are left with no choice but to sail the Atlantic. Can Dianna brave the tumultuous waves ahead or will she succumb to the temptation of immortality and leave her heart in the future?
I finally have the life I always dreamed of. So why does it taste like ash on my tongue? Growing up in Torma, the strongest of the shifter packs, I wanted nothing more than to find my true mate and live my best life. Of course, that dream existed before my father betrayed the pack and turned me into their punching bag. I’d all but given up, until a quirk of true mate genetics gifted me a true mate like no other. My childhood dreams were finally a reality. Funny how quickly dreams turn into nightmares. I’m being lied to, missing weeks and months of time. Someone messed with me and no matter how often I’m told to forget it and move on as Torin’s mate, there’s no way I can. Whoever did this to me should have known I’d pick at it until it bled. It’s my nature after all. As I search out random growls, flutters in my chest, and a suspicion that there’s so much more going on than I could even imagine, I sense that I’m racing against an unknown clock. I need to get to the bottom of this mystery. And when I figure out who stole my memories, they’re going to wish they never messed with Mera Callahan. Game on.
Death is not the end…Kinsley and Thorn are new parents. Laney is a perfect baby, and because of the magical reset, they don’t have to harness her powers. Life is everything Kinsley always wanted it to be. Nice. Normal. Quiet. Until a dead witch turns up outside under the old hanging tree, and Lilith is possibly the prime suspect.
Cursed to live as a raven, Imala Chogan yearns for freedom. Jaggar Martin might be her unwanted savior—at the cost of his humanity. Imala Chogan – From the day my tribe was cursed by a rival shaman two hundred years ago, my life has been nothing but a dreary, loveless existence. The one day I can shed my raven form, I’m reminded all over of the pain and loss of those I had to leave behind. I will never subject myself to that kind of agony again—even if it swaggers in with a ridiculous Stetson hat and talks with a cute, southern drawl. Besides, what man would want to be with me when they learn of my past? Jaggar Martin – A fresh start sounded good, especially after the horror I’d witnessed—and created—while in the military. Keeping a steady job working for Revan Chogan, having a roof over my head, and putting an end to the blood-soaked nightmares is my version of heaven. Enter Imala, who’s gorgeous, sharp-tongued, and cold like frigid icicles. I think she’s warming up to me, though. If she ever gets a glimpse of what I keep buried deep inside, will she love me—or hate me?

The moment he decides to give up and focus on his boys, fate steps in, but what if Becca is actually working with the enemy?

If they had one of those anonymous rehabilitation programs for folks like me, my introduction would be, “Hi, I’m Shira, and I kill people.” Except rehab suggests killing people bothers me. It doesn’t. Neither am I particularly committed to anything other than not being caught. That sounded a shred on the hard-hearted side. I’m not. I’m a lot like you. I get up every morning, clean myself up, and check my phone to see what I have cooking. Everyone has a job. Mine happens to be ridding the world of people who shouldn’t be here. Not that I’m making those decisions. People hire me, and I trust they’ve done their homework. I’ve always been…different, never had a close circle of friends or even associates. Once I discovered I could do unusual things, I kept to myself. Those rare skills make me a perfect choice because I kill from a distance and leave no evidence. What I do is lucrative. I’m pretty much set even for my rather long lifetime. In theory, I could quit anytime. I say that after every job. That I should walk away, except I don’t. Tell you what. Don’t judge me, and I might spare you if your number comes up on my dance card. Deal?
It was hard enough serving as my witchy cat’s familiar when we only had to deal with threats we could see. Now he’s gotten himself into a bitter feud with a newly dispatched ghost, leaving me to wonder… How in the heck are we supposed to defeat this thing? I miss the simple days when all I had to worry about was finishing my thesis paper and not getting fired from my part-time job as a barista. And, yeah, even though I didn’t choose the magic life, it sure as heck chose me. Now all I have to do is to keep myself alive long enough to appreciate some of the perks.

He doesn’t get involved in the troubles of man or beast. Nix is the only exception. Nix forces light into Even’s eternal darkness. Even doesn’t hesitate to offer his help in keeping Nix safe from an invisible foe. After all, he’s the only being in existence with the power and time to shield Nix from any enemy. A dead conquest. A succubus signature. An edict sending the culprit back to Hell. The culprit being me.
My name is Gwen, and I’m a succubus with a control problem. Except I didn’t create this mess. Now I have ten days to prove my innocence. Not a problem. Well, minus one minor detail–the two hot demons hellbent on helping me prove my case. Lord Zebulon makes me want to fall to my knees with a single glance. And Zane recently shattered my heart. It’s a match made in Hell. And a union probably blessed by the devil himself. So I have ten days not to fall in love. Ten days of staying out of Zane’s and Lord Zebulon’s beds. And ten days to find out who framed me for murder. Man, sometimes being a succubus really sucks.
Alaric – I hate vampires. I hate hybrids more. Particularly, the one I’m hunting now. The bastard took something that belongs to me. My mate. I haven’t met her yet, but I can smell her—that sweet, delectable heat that calls to my inner beast. Mmm, I can’t wait for a taste. However, I need to save her first. Then I can claim her. Does she sense me coming for her? Are her thighs quaking with the need to be possessed by my hands? I hope she kneels for me. I hope she begs me to complete our bond. Only, when I find her, she doesn’t do any of those things. Instead, she tries to kill me. Now it’s not the hybrid I’m hunting; it’s her—the stubborn female with no interest in our destined bond. Oh, but she’ll bow for me eventually. They always do. And when I win her over, I’m going to make her crawl. You can run, sweetheart, but you can’t hide. I’ll always find what’s mine. Makayla – One minute, I’m minding my own business, and the next, I end up in a realm that isn’t my own. ..(more blurb on ebook seller’s page…)
I admit I messed up when I dragged a sunken treasure chest to shore. I’ll even take part of the blame for my obsessive-compulsive sister throwing them in an auction before I had a chance to check them for magical mojo. That doesn’t mean I should have to deal with snobby socialites and the weak-kneed weenies that bow at their Prada-clad feet. Especially when said socialite is dead. Actually, it does. Because I come from a long line of powerful witches and warlocks tasked with keeping magical artifacts out of non-magical hands. Our family reputation is sterling, but just like all fine silver and old families, there’s a little tarnish here and there. It’s what makes us good at what we do. Now I’m going to have to trot out every trick I know when a local woman keels over dead at her own bridal party. Not only do I have to figure out what killed her, I have to recover it before it finds another victim, then cover it up to keep magic hidden. Together with my best friend, a powerful warlock who’s personality tempers my own, and an ancient catalog that’s been in my family for generations, we’ll find the next artifact and take one more step toward cleaning up my mess.
Caius Oppita has served the Alyrion Empire for more than half his life, watching with growing revulsion as the royal family descends ever deeper into corruption and depravity. Powerless to do more than stand by as the land he loves slides toward civil war and social upheaval, he longs for his days as a general on the battlefield rather than a tame palace lapdog. When the execution of one of the emperor’s inconvenient bastard sons goes wrong, Caius has a choice to make—do his duty, or do what is right and spirit the innocent man away to safety. It should have been simple—hide Decian in plain sight for a few days, then smuggle him out of the palace compound. Buy him passage on a ship sailing someplace far away from the capital city, and take quiet pleasure in fighting one single injustice among many. Instead, the swirling undercurrents of politics and power struggles seem determined to drag them ever deeper into danger—even as Decian guilelessly slips past the armor surrounding Caius’ battered soul. Caius had never considered himself a fool… but only a fool would bed the emperor’s illegitimate son. Much less let the brash young idiot anywhere near his heart.
Red wolf Serena Wilder is on a mission to find the gray wolf who stole her life savings and take back what’s hers. She has to start at her family’s old pack home, where it’s rumored there’s a hidden safe in the basement. She knows it’s a long shot, but it’s her only hope to support herself while she hunts for the culprit. She expected there to be some setbacks, but she wasn’t prepared for a new pack of wolves to be in her way. Tanner Greystroke and his brothers now live on the property, and they’re surprised to see Serena. Their pack leader’s mate is none other than Serena’s sister, who all this time thought Serena was dead. Knowing that things can’t get much worse for Serena, Tanner offers to help her get back everything that belongs to her—the house, the money, all of it. But that plan will only work if he can keep her safe and they can see this through to the end…
There’s no mean girl like an internet mean girl. Especially when she’s a witch. Selena hasn’t been in Globe, Arizona, very long, but she’s quickly learned to be wary when her friend Josie gets a bright idea — like insisting she join the growing legion of internet witches. While being an Instagram star sounds like a good way to promote her metaphysical shop, Selena can’t ignore the feeling she’s about to get some pretty crappy juju dropped on her head. It isn’t as if she doesn’t have time to produce content — or even date, since it appears tribal police chief Calvin Standingbear has ghosted her. Too bad the perfectly nice rancher who offers his place for a live-streamed solstice bonfire ritual doesn’t strike a single spark. But when the dark side of social media rears its ugly head, Selena’s going to need all the friends she can get, including the secretive police chief. Because social media rivalries can be murder — and Selena could be targeted as a suspect…or the next victim.

When her younger brother is condemned to the same wretched fate as hers, Roma must choose between silence and rebellion.
Leviathan is the bastard son of an immortal tyrant. Raised in a military city where everyone knows of his blood relation to the persecuted clans, Leviathan is considered casteless. Lowest of the low. When he faces judgement from his mother’s people—the clans—Leviathan must confront his demons and forge his own path, if he ever hopes to reclaim his soul. For the past five years, Zana Alasdair has been obsessed with Rafe Cazadero. Which is an issue, to say the least, because Rafe is a half-angel demon hunter, and Zana is… well… a demon. Sort of. Anyway, she’s a succubus — a half-human demon who draws magic from the erotic energy she collects making love to mortals. Which means Rafe would probably kill her if he caught her hanging around.
Which is why Pointy doesn’t approve of her little crush on the hunter. Pointy is her evil tail, which has a mind of its own, and is thoroughly convinced Rafe is Bad News. And Pointy does have a… well… point. Except if Rafe’s not careful, he’s going to get himself killed, and that would be a damn shame. Especially since one of those most interested in killing Rafe is Zana’s psycho father, Jargoth, a Lord of Hell, who’d also like to kill Zana. Zana’s been thinking. Wouldn’t it be great if she could talk Rafe and his magic sword into an alliance? She can be pretty persuasive… assuming she can convince her evil tail to be a little less evil.

Her ex-fiancé, Bill, was not only utterly wrong for her. He might have also killed her father. I saw Willa’s helplessness when I found her. A muddy wedding dress and her wrinkled forehead told me all I needed to know. Those rosy cheeks and full lips were inviting. It was hard to ignore the instant attraction between us. I had to take her in and protect her. Her ex-fiancé was out for her blood and the dangers were never ending. Willa saw the real side of me when I shifted to save her. Our love was still fragile, but strong at the same time. Protecting her was tough. I didn’t have the same resources as the mob did.
But that didn’t deter me. Willa was my mate, and I would die if that meant saving her life!

My name is Harla Flint, and I’m an elemental. My magic comes from the monsters within the peculiar forest called the Shade Rasa, not that I completely understand how. That’s because I’ve been in juvie for murdering my parents, even though I have no memory of how it happened. Still, attending the Magic Blood Academy Juvenile Detention Center has one perk. Kai Laramie. Too bad he’s a jerk and a bully. When the popular Elemental Outcast Games accepts my application, I agree to compete in the latest season. So does Kai. The odds of survival are minimal, but I’m no quitter. Besides, we have two months of PR and marketing for the show before it begins. That gives Kai and me time to get to know one another. Did I mention he’s gorgeous, mysterious, and makes me want to lose my heart? If I win the games, the show promises I’ll be free to start over. But when it comes down to it, will I have what it takes to defeat the only person who knows the real me? Can love alter destiny? I guess I’m about to find out. Let the Elemental Outcast Games begin!

With one kiss I can see when, where and how you will die. Some would call it a gift. But not me. My death kiss is a curse that has branded me a witch, with no human rights, and has turned me into the most wanted girl on earth. Why? Because in a world where a vicious movement of sadistic killers are murdering random people to stop overpopulation, my kiss holds the power for salvation. And makes me a prime target for abduction. Which is where I am now. Captured by three brothers, burning with grief after witnessing my parents’ murder, and tormented with fear of what is yet to come…For something doesn’t add up. I’m trapped inside a deadly game of kiss and tell, but I know there’s a darker agenda at play. What it is? I just hope I can live to find out.
“First off, you’re not dead.” Tallulah was not only glad to hear that but also more than a little confused. She had no idea who any of these people were or why she was standing in line outside a mysterious doorway shrouded in mist, holding an empty milk bottle. The Office of Cursed Objects was only the beginning. Tallulah soon found herself filled with purpose. She was a newly minted djinn, and she had training to get through so she could learn the ropes. Granting wishes sounded like fun, but it turned out it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Still, it was a real opportunity to help people, and Tallulah was nothing if not generous at heart. The Get Out Clause – If a Master loved her truly and without wish of personal gain, she’d be free. Even a djinn curse could not withstand a love blessed by Fate. Rebel had been called to the US when she’d been informed that her brother was dying, but she arrived too late. He left behind a devastated wife, two small children, and a load of debt. Rebel stayed to help out as best she could, taking a job at the local hospital, but working conditions there were unbearable, and she had no choice but to quit or kill someone—namely the head nurse. And as a doctor, she had taken an oath to save lives, not take them. Rodney ran a small practice. He handled the medical care for the local schools and worked at the hospital when needed for emergencies. And when a little boy came into his office to get stitched up from being ambushed by bullies, Rodney knew he had to get to the bottom of the problem. When the boy’s Aunt Rebel shows up and takes over, Rodney instantly knows who she is to him—his mate. Having to approach her with the subject had his cat curling up inside him. He had watched his brothers flounder around with their new mates, and he didn’t want to start off on the wrong foot. It didn’t take but a minute for Rebel to assess the new situation, and she wasn’t sure how she felt about it. She also needed a job, not a handout. She was a doctor, damn it, and a good one. No man, especially one she didn’t know, was going to order her around. If he thought he could, she’d let him know fast that she was no pushover.

Mercy. This was a word Brick Bane had never understood until his brother spared his life three weeks ago. As bear shifter with a failed mission, he’s watching his brother’s every move to try and discover what has changed him so much. The only thing that makes sense? The girl his brother has broken the rules with. There’s a waitress in town who is paying a little too much attention to Brick, and now he’s wondering why she’s calling so strongly to him. The rules are simple: Never touch a human’s skin, never fall for a woman, and never, ever let a human find out what he is. But this beguiling creature is slowly making him want to break the rules of the Oath of Bane too. The only problem? The consequence is complete annihilation…for both of them.
Trinity is just trying to get her head above water right now, but when a big, burly, sexy-as-fire mountain man starts frequenting her restaurant, she can’t help but be distracted. He’s rough around the edges, and blunt, and has these crazy rules, but he’s also protective, and kind to her in surprising moments. After the year she’s had, she sure could use the feeling of safety he provides. The issue with that? Brick Bane’s life is anything but safe. There’s a big bad bear in the woods hunting them, and the crows in the sky say something is very, very wrong. She has two options. One, go back to the safe life, or two, stand beside Brick and weather the storm that is barreling toward them. Destiny is coming for the Bane brothers, and Trinity is determined not to let Brick hide from it any longer. Only her love can awaken the monster.
I never saw it coming…the bones…the magic…the betrayal. It’s no longer a question of who I can trust—the answer is no one. Now, it’s about survival. I’m in the heart of the Order, trying to solve a series of mysterious disappearances, while doing everything that I can not to become bait. Enemies are circling, and they can’t seem to decide if they see me as a pawn or as a threat. Oh, and there’s that little issue of being tethered to Rogan, who I now want to kill. It’s time to figure out just what I’m capable of though. Because fool me once…shame on you. But fool me twice…and I will crush your bones to dust. My name is Lennox Osseous, and I’m about to unleash the wrath of the Bone Witch.

To find her mate, she must brave a perilous, magical realm…Dry land. Sea dragon Jane Doe has never given up hope of finding her mate. Now, there’s only one place left to search. An enigmatic, intimidating place filled with baffling wonders like flowers and ice cream. Only the bravest sea dragons have ever dared to venture into the human world. Jane’s no warrior, but she’s determined to face the terrors above the sea. Her mate must be on land, and she’s going to find him. No matter how long it takes. Which, as it turns out, is approximately two minutes. Finding their happy ending? That’s going to be a lot harder.
She found her happy ending. Now if she can just help these young fools find theirs…Sea dragons. Sometimes you just want to grab ‘em by the gills and shake some sense into those thick, honor-stuffed skulls. And there’s one cranky old coyote shifter who’s not afraid to do just that. Martha knows that youngsters have to learn for themselves… but that doesn’t mean you can’t give them a nudge in the right direction. If, that is, you can make the darn idiots listen. With three headstrong whippersnappers diving straight into trouble, this might take more than a sharp word and a sugar cookie to solve. Fortunately, she can always call on the help of the biggest shark in the sea…Author’s Note: This is not a standalone story! Coyote in the Sea takes place in between Fire & Rescue Shifters and Fire & Rescue Shifters: Wildfire Crew, and features characters from both series. It is intended to be read after those books.
VS Note: The author warns of a cliffhanger.
As with most beginnings, it started with death. When I had nothing left to lose, I traveled to the hut in the woods; the one no one dared approach. The witch who lived there recognized the darkness in my soul and took me under her wing—to witness her reign of terror firsthand and eventually, to inherit her legacy as my own. Now I’m the monster they fear; the one humans avoid at all costs. In this welcome isolation, I’ve attempted to forget my past and the future that was taken from me. Until three men appear, somehow able to break through my protective wards and see me in my true form. While resistant to their intrusion, I recognize they may be the ones I’ve been waiting for—the ones I need to ascend to my full power.
Too bad I would rather grind their bones than invite them in. But something is mysteriously devouring the forest, and I suspect the threat may be the same one I barely escaped many moons ago. If it is, he will find me a more worthy opponent than the last time we met. I am the Yaga and I may be broken, but my edges are sharp. The Yaga’s Riders is based on the folklore of Baba Yaga, with creative liberties taken.
A transformation has taken hold of my body, my soul, the very center of who I am as a witch. I’ve loved and I’ve lost but I refuse to accept that this is the way it ends. When a prophecy changes and my life amplifies to a new level of chaos, I’ll have to learn to harness my new magic and lean on those around me. Between the power boosts and a new diabolical villain, I’ll need every single one of my mates at my side in order to have my revenge.
I’m cursed to relive my sister’s wedding day. Worse, I’m dangerously falling for the groom. Hayden Clark. The first time I met him, my heart tap-danced inside my chest, and a magical spark swirled between us. I was convinced I had finally found the one. He even asked me on a date; I was on cloud nine. In my head, it was the start of a beautiful love story…until I learned he was on his way to a blind date with my sister. Imagine my shock! So I stepped aside, and just like that, all my dreams came crashing down. Fast-forward two years later…He’s getting married to my sister, but before he can say “I do,” he’s hell-bent on making sure I have no regrets whatsoever. I’m pretty good at pretending he’s never meant anything to me. If only that galling wedding day actually came to an end. The problem is, I’m cursed to go through this day over and over again. And it’s getting impossible not to fall in love with the groom.
You belong to me and I know it down deep, in muscle and bone, where my wolf lives. Avery Rhine isn’t an average homicide detective with the Chicago PD. In fact, Avery isn’t an average anything. Sure, as an omega he knows he’s at the bottom of the food chain, but that’s never slowed him down. He’s got a great life, complete with a loving family and a best friend who’d take a bullet for him, so what more could he possibly want or need? Except, maybe, for the world to change. And to find someone to spend more than one night with, but that isn’t high on his list of priorities. He’s never been one to believe in destiny or whatever else the fantasies sell about there being someone special out there meant just for him. Then a chance encounter at a party changes everything. Graeme Davenport has no delusions about finding his true mate. The consensus is that if an alpha doesn’t find their other half by the time they’re thirty, the chances of it ever happening go from slim to none. He’s not a mere alpha, though; Graeme is a cyne who sits at the pinnacle of lupine hierarchy, so he’s obligated by tradition and duty to choose an omega now, sign a contract, and bond with him. Love is not part of the equation. When Graeme and Avery meet, their fierce attraction to each other flies in the face of reason and logic. Avery’s intense physical reaction to the alpha is something he’s never experienced before, while Graeme, who has always been the soul of discretion, loses all his inhibitions to desire for the man he wants to possess. They are two very different men trying to navigate expectations, separate reason from innate primal drive, and do it while working together to solve a murder. It will take everything they are to find a middle ground, and to learn to trust in a fated kind of love.
They were right. The stronger our bonds grow; the closer evil gets. I’ve fallen for a charming Fae, protective Warlock, and a tempting Demon, all with sculpted bodies made for sin. Our bonds are only the beginning. To break the curse that obstructs all magic, I’m meant to connect – heart, body, and soul – with a brooding vampire who refuses to accept our destiny. The vampire’s internal struggle leads him into a deadly snare, a trap meant to lure me. Despite Phoenix’s arrogance and our terrible first encounter, there’s a deeper connection I can’t deny. A craving neither of us can resist.
Saving him is the only option, but am I walking all of us into a fatal mistake?
Now I’m on a journey to see some Oracle I didn’t know existed, accompanied by the four most eligible males in the clan—go figure, they’re the other clan alphas. The trip gives me an opportunity to learn more about the strangers who wish to claim me as their mate: brooding Rowan, serene Taika, jovial Stig, and flirtatious Mateo all appeal to me, and my wolf, in different ways. And right now they’re all seriously pissing me off. As they each try and fail to dominate me, the only person who remains on my side is my best friend and former lover, Emory. But as the trip wears on, I begin to suspect even Emory’s keeping secrets. Plus, lest I forget, there are still the blood-drinking monsters that dog our steps and leave a few nasty surprises along our journey.
VS: Next on my ancient Egyptian paranormal romance backlist is a novella, HEALER OF THE NILE. This is a Cinderella-esque tale and on the sweet side, unlike most of my books where we see the couple’s relationship deepening in the bedroom a few times, which might have been a requirement of the anthology it was in at the time – I can’t remember. I always have plans to revisit this Hunting Cat estate and this couple at more length…maybe someday. They did appear as minor characters in LADY OF THE NILE in two scenes. I loved the cover but I think maybe it has too much of a YA feel? Any thoughts?

LINKS TO RECENT NEW RELEASES POSTS from Veronica:
“New” is generally plus or minus a week or two. I try to catch up on ones I missed in recent months. And I may mention ‘special items’.
I do NOT cover every single new release in SFR/FantasyR/PNR. I never have. That would be an impossible task for any human! I assemble my list by hand every week based on various informal inputs, and I do curate the list to some extent…
Some authors aren’t in KU but still don’t list books with Apple or other platforms. This report is very time consuming to prepare so I’ve always had to limit myself and cannot go and look up every book on all the platforms. If an author gives me their other buy links, I include them here but generally I develop the post on my own, not from author-supplied information. I curate and prepare this post individually every week to help connect readers/books/authors and I have to be very careful not to give it so much time as an activity that I don’t write my own novels! Thanks for the feedback and happy reading!
I check and verify all the buy links at the time I create the post but after that I’m not responsible.
