As always, I recommend sampling before you buy! I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts LOL).

VS Note: Not a romance but a scifi release of note…
Local Star is a polyamorous space opera with a fast-paced, action-packed adventure that’s sure to punch you in the feels. It follows guttergirl Triz as she saves her hub from invaders from the Cyberbionautic Alliance, all the while negotiating her rekindled romance with Kalo, her ex who’s returned from battle and won’t stop hanging around the wrenchworks.
Pandora Dayle is her family’s disgraced black sheep. Ten years after running away, she’s rebuilt her self-respect at an isolated facility for saving animals native to the colony planet. Her redemption feels as fragile as a dream, but she’ll be okay if nothing traumatic happens. But when the best friend from her innocent youth arrives, her insecurities mushroom. Aidan used to be Pandora’s best friend. Since his teen years, he’s held heroic jobs—police officer and now Search and Rescue leader. He adored innocent young Pandora so much he compares every woman to her idealized memory, and finds them wanting. But when he rediscovers the real thing, she’s not at all what he expected. Booker, a naïve Apprentice Cupid for a secret organization, receives his second assignment: get Pandora and Aidan to mate. They’d been close friends, so his strategy is simple: He flies Aidan to her island and tells him to impregnate Pandora. What could possibly go wrong?
Brazen had never left her parents side, until now. Discovering the awful truth about her father, she wants nothing more to do with her family and vows to join the mission of the mercenaries who rescued her. Kreg had no intention of rescuing anyone. But a raid turned into an accidental abduction brought nine Terran females aboard his ship – among them the daughter of his sworn enemy. However, her father would stop at nothing to keep her away from him, including killing him.
VS Note: Not a romance. Scifi release of note this week…I put it on my TBR list.
Security consultant “Jane Smith” receives an envelope with a key to a storage unit that holds a taxidermied hummingbird and clues leading her to a taxidermied salamander. Silvina, the dead woman who left the note, is a reputed ecoterrorist and the daughter of an Argentine industrialist. By taking the hummingbird from the storage unit, Jane sets in motion a series of events that quickly spin beyond her control. Soon, Jane and her family are in danger, with few allies to help her make sense of the true scope of the peril. Is the only way to safety to follow in Silvina’s footsteps? Is it too late to stop? As she desperately seeks answers about why Silvina contacted her, time is running out—for her and possibly for the world.
The “Big One” hit hard, creating chaos far worse than anyone could have predicted. My parents’ home was swallowed into a gaping maw, deep in the ground, or so I thought…until I opened my eyes. Imagine my shock when I discover three suns and two moons, hanging in the violet sky—yes, sky—not some gravesite for sunken houses demolished during earthquakes. Landing in an alien landscape was bad enough, but when I learn the way home requires stealing a magical emerald from a dangerous fanged creature and delivering it to an unpredictable sorcerer, things go from bad to worse. Forgive the cliché. From the Yellow Brick Road, to the three companions I find along its winding, blood-splattered path, my reality begins to resemble a popular fairy tale I watched as a kid.
Only my OZ isn’t the same OZ I remember from our TV screen. It is a prison planet and the final address for dangerous criminals banished by their own galaxies’ governments. And as far as I can tell, there are no ruby slippers. I have no choice but to trust Lornand, the golden lion shifter; Strax, the sexy alien dependent on robotics; and Trophus, the space pirate, if I want to survive and escape.
But nothing for me is ever simple. Somewhere along the Yellow Brick Road, my three protectors steal my heart, and returning to earth becomes less important when a fourth, unlikely ally joins our relationship. There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home.
VS Note: Not a romance but a scifi release of note. I put it on my TBR list.
It doesn’t matter what you call her. Riley. Burner. She forgot her name long ago. But if you steal from the supply lines crossing the wasteland, her face is the last one you’ll see. She is the force of nature that keeps the balance in the hot arid desert. Keep to yourself and she’ll leave you well enough alone. But it’s when you try to take more than you can chew that her employers notice and send her off to restore the balance. Then she gets the latest call. A supply truck knocked over too cleanly. Too precise. And the bodies scattering the wreckage weren’t killed by her normal prey of scavengers. These bodies are already rotting hours after the attack. Cowering in the corner of the wreckage is a young girl. A girl that shouldn’t be there. A girl with violently blue eyes. Just like hers.
Silhouette watches the alien abductors trying to unload the entire shipment of stolen Terrans. She wished that she could sleep standing up, but it wasn’t a skill she had acquired. When a medical team comes in, a grey alien comes by and tests the humans. When he gets to her and she goes off, there is relief in his expression. She is taken to medical, brought to stability, and they run some tests while stowing her in a cell for her own protection. The problem is there is a Hmrain in the next cell, and while his wings are gorgeous and look so soft, his eyes are so hot he could burn her. Kalek is just finishing rut when this receptive human is dropped in next to him, but she needs calm, and he tries to give it, right up until the moment when his second in command makes an offhand remark about her prognosis and tries to remove her from his presence. Instinct takes over, and he breaks out of his cell. Being chased by the captain of the ship is strange enough, but having him next to her when she wakes up from a painful medical procedure is shocking. He wants her body, mind, and soul, and maintaining her is part of the deal. He will hold up his end if she signs the contract to bind them together.
I’m not new to this game. I was abducted and made to work as a Prize for the past year. Dozens of alien fighters have claimed me. None scare me. None… other than the prisoner known as the “Devil.”
When a riot kicks off and the prison is hurled into chaos, no one knows what they’re doing… or how high the stakes are. No one except the Devil. He has a plan to escape and takes me with him. With the prison guards hot on our tail and closing fast, will the Devil trade me for a shuttlecraft and freedom? Or will he accept the burning passion growing between us and our destiny as fated mates?
Voxx has entered the most dangerous gladiatorial tournament in the known universe, and won. He gets to name his prize — anything he desires — and his choice is clear: a bride. But when Raleigh is tricked into an alien wedding ritual on a strange, desolate fringe planet, she isn’t quite as pleased with this turn of events as her new husband is…Her choice: remain trapped with a savage alien warrior on a gladiator arena planet forever … or enter the games herself, for a slim chance at that infamous prize, and her freedom. One slight hiccup: is she catching feelings for her own husband?
VS Note: From MAR 15
Hey all, I’m Quinn. I applied for a job which guaranteed travel. This was a totally different type of travel, but I’m even more excited for. Another World. Getting married to an alien guy is just part of the deal, and I can live with that. But I accidently… kinda fell into a young guy. Who is like seven feet tall mind you. How was I supposed to know he was going to suddenly stop. So we ended up with Luna at Clan Wolf, and now my creative juices are flowing. I have many ideas on how to make this little bit of paradise our home. But my first mate keeps on insisting I take more mates. I’m happy with what I have… that’s until one very flirty Aashi changes my mind.
I am a caged beast, bred for war. My captors force me to fight for my life, day in, day out, to hone my skills. Pain, war and death are all I know. And then Amy’s dropped into my cell. The most beautiful creature I have ever seen. Long dark hair, big eyes, and a curvy body I want to sink my fangs into. My captors tell me I must mate with the human female and impregnate her within the next seven days — or they will kill her. There is nothing I would like to do more than to sate my urges and release myself inside this female, but there’s one problem: She is terrified of me. I cannot and will not mate with a female against their will. But, I cannot let my captors kill her either. Every second she is my presence, my animalistic urges grow harder and harder to resist, but I am determined to prove that, despite everything, I am no animal. If I can convince Amy to come to me willingly, then perhaps I can save her — and myself.
Sarah had many doubts about entering an abandoned mine to help her best friend capture video footage to share on her social media. Convinced to do it anyway, her worst fears are realized when the exploration quickly goes awry, plunging Sarah into grave danger. Separated from the group and isolated in the depths of a long-forgotten mine, she must hold onto her wits and her sanity to survive, because something nightmarish hunts her through the darkness. Her only option is to travel deeper to escape it.
Jotaha serves as the Guardian of the Dark Paths, patrolling deep underground in a maze of tunnels and caves that protect his people from human invaders. His duty is to kill any human who crosses the boundary into yan-kanat territory, and he performs that duty admirably. Until he meets the one human who is destined to be his mate. They are from two different worlds that have clashed violently in the past. Humans view reptilians as monsters straight out of myth and urban legend, and Jotaha’s people view humans as their mortal enemies. Will the decree of a fertility goddess be enough to convince the yan-kanat that Sarah belongs with their guardian? Or will the enmity that exists between their people end up destroying the growing love between Sarah and her reptilian mate?
JAYNE: I’ve dedicated my life to defending clients against injustice, but the imposing alien male that’s captured me doesn’t believe in innocent until proven guilty. All Commander Rexitor cares about is his precious Empire and I’m its biggest threat. This alien is going to make sure I pay for my crime. Haalux justice is swift and brutal, just like him. But I believe in justice and I’m prepared to do anything to survive, even if it means defying him or the Empire. But the one thing I’m not going to do is ask for his help, because what I see in his eyes means I’m going to have to give up far more that I bargained for if I do.
REXITOR: I didn’t want anything to do with the criminal. She says she’s innocent, but so do all the rest. She insists she understands justice, but what could a human know of justice? The evidence speaks for itself – she’s the killer. Jayne faces execution, and I’ll lose the soft curves and quiet voice that calls to my primal side in a way I never thought possible. Marked Haalux warriors like me don’t deserve a mate, I accepted that. But she’s here and destined to be destroyed in front of me. Unless I claim her first.
We’ve dealt with the Aurelian species before. We barely got out alive. This time? We stole from them. Now I’m trapped on an alien warship with my best friend surrounded by testosterone-fuelled, brutal alien warriors. Any one of them could snap and go mad with the Mating Rage. And my jailer’s? Garrick and his triad. Huge, powerful alien warriors who could lift me with a single hand. Marble-skinned Greek Gods who live for war and duty. Possessive. Overly protective. They might be the only honorable Aurelians on the ship… But if I’m their mate, they’ll never let me free. Book 1, Her Alien Jailers, is a retelling of “Alien Captain’s Prisoner” from Sawoot’s point of view. Book 2, Her Alien Protectors, shows life after. Note: ends in a cliffhanger.
He’s brutal. He’s dangerous. He’s seven years behind on his taxes. Enter me. Tania McMillan. Tax accountant. If I can get Tyrant (yes, that’s actually his name) to stop laying waste to his enemies for a moment, I might be able to decide if boiling hot space oil is a combat deductible, or an entertainment expense. I’m on contract to him until we can sort his Galactic tax debt. He seems to think he owns me. And that’s just the start of a series of miscommunications (you don’t even want to know what he does with red tape) which leads me to his battle bed, where he is just as rough and intense as he is on the battlefield.
Deep inside, Dr. Jena knows she isn’t who she thinks she is. With each passing day, it’s crucial she figures out who or what she’s supposed to be. Clueless how to solve her inner demons, she focuses on her veterinary clinic while raising teenage twin brothers after they suffered a devasting loss when their adoptive parents were killed. Little did she know rescuing a wild wolf caught in a steel trap would answer all her questions. Being part alien, shapeshifter Pete doesn’t take things seriously. But lately his good humor is stretched to the limit. Oh, an ET invasion, a worldwide financial crisis, and the CIA on his ass were all fun and games. What he couldn’t handle was watching his baby brother fall for a woman he just met. Hadn’t the dumbass learned from Pete’s mistake? A woman will rip your heart out, stomp on it, and throw it in your face laughing. No thanks. He’d rather shift into a wolf and run wild. Thrown together, Jena and Pete are desperate to escape those determined to rip them apart. Can two strangers learn to rely on each other to survive, trusting the love growing between them?
VS Note: From MARCH 9
I need credits and I need them fast. That’s why I’m responding to an obscure ad that offers a generous reward for what should be simple work. For the amount of credits offered, I would be willing to do just about anything. So, when a rich and powerful cyborg asks me to travel to an ice planet and convince his son to come back home, I immediately agree. It can’t be that hard, can it?
Arden inherited Eden, a space station floating over a dying planet. He also inherited an oppressive class system, worker shortages, and an entitled ruling class that refuses to make concessions. Rhys, a worker who’s earned Arden’s trust, helps him make unpopular changes to keep Eden alive. Arden’s reputation as a shallow and formula-addled leader leaves his friends and foes skeptical of his leadership. Rhys gains power and is met with resistance from the ruling class. But without intervention, Eden’s labor shortages may lead to the end of the station, and Terra One, within Arden’s lifetime.
She’s ready to give up…Jessie is a romanceaholic—errr, scratch that—she was a romanceaholic. Fast forward almost two months and the hearts that were shining bright in her eyes when she first landed on Djaromir, have long since dimmed. Rejection is never easy but when it’s multiplied by a few hundred, it’s downright awful. She’s more than ready pack up her dinged and dented self-confidence, catch a ship back home, and try to rebuild the life she’d naively walked away from. All she must do, is meet one last batch of miners while trying not to get her hopes up. A quick sniff to see if one of the hot miners trigger a whiff of the telltale mating pheromones and she’ll have an answer on whether or not she’s headed back to Missouri. What could possibly go wrong?
VS Note: Not a romance although I have a feeling there will be romantic elements. I’ve read this one and enjoyed it – very different twist. I’ve also read the second one now which is the same set of events from another, intertwining character’s POV. Orinarily I’m lukewarm about that trope, but I found I enjoyed it and am now eagerly awaiting the next book. They aren’t exactly cliffhangers but close.

Will the pair survive the end of the world as we know it, or will nothing stand in the way of a hitman’s mission? The EMP is only the beginning.

He realized he might have to move Heaven and Earth to save his mate.
Extraterrestrials do exist. To discover alien life was the sole reason Jace Tanner trained to work on GBT’s space station. Only he never expected to find out like this—waking up to one lurking on his bed. Nor did he expect to be so drawn to her. All Vai needed was his DNA. That’s the way it’s always been. A necessity during missions. A gentle exchange. But her experience with this human called Jace has proven anything but typical. Her first contact with a human should not have been like this. Then again, nothing about her mission has gone as planned. Hostile threats, unforeseen setbacks, innocent bystanders pulled into the fray. And now a secret war wages deep within her heart. Jace. Her valiant human. All that she never knew she wanted. And the very last person in the cosmos she can afford to get attached to. But as an outside menace looms, an otherworldly energy between them emerges—one with bold, unrelenting power and a mind of its own. Now they face two adversaries, but have they the strength to battle both? Their lives, and the fate of the station, will absolutely depend on it.

The tourists think it’s all a show: the vampires, the werewolves, the witches, the occasional gargoyle flying through the sky. But the supernaturals populating the town know better. Living in Nocturne Falls means being yourself. Fangs, fur, and all. Custom-aquarium specialist, Undrea Seeley, is supernaturally good at creating made-to-order fish tanks for her customers. Probably because she loves what she does. And because she’s a mermaid. She also loves living in a town where she can be herself. Well, the version of herself everyone thinks she is. But then, who isn’t harboring a secret, right?
Tech billionaire Ethan Edmonds is an open book. Hard not to be when the media follows your every move, something they’ve done pretty much since he made his first million at seventeen by selling an app he’d created. Now he’s sold his biggest company for an even greater profit and he’s ready to disappear a little. At least enough to focus on a project that has nothing to do with money and everything to do with helping people. But when his self-appointed fiancée decides he needs a majestic centerpiece aquarium in their new home, she has no idea things are about to spring a leak. Ethan has never met a woman like Undrea and is instantly captivated by her free spirit and fun-loving ways. Undrea understands his attraction to her, however. It’s driven by magic she can’t control, but she’s still determined not to harpoon his relationship, despite her growing feelings for him. Then she realizes there’s something fishy going on and it seems Undrea’s not the only one hiding her true identity. Saving Ethan from the dark forces out to get him could mean revealing the truth she’s been trying to hide. But will that secret sink them both or will she sacrifice herself to protect the man she’s fallen in love with?
Ember Brady would never describe herself as stubborn. She’s a pastry chef. Doesn’t that make her patient by definition? Who cares if she’s set in her ways? So what if she doesn’t relent? It’s called passion and determination. She wants to open her own bakery, and the baking competition is her ticket to her dream job. She would die to win. That’s just a figure of speech, though.
Lion shifter Kai Mason is proud of his family’s security business. They’re in charge of all things security at F&D Network, from actors to infuriating reality TV competitors. The studio is his domain and his to protect. If only the stubborn baker with a death wish would just let him save her. Doesn’t she understand that she’s his mate? When the baking competition comes under attack, the intense lion and his stubborn mate will have to find a compromise. Too bad both of them are out of practice. Crashing equipment, death threats, and vicious attacks can’t stop the course of true love — or can they?
Steph Bennet has a 5 year plan to get ahead despite the new challenges that have come with the fae crossing into the human world. Regardless, she is focused on her goals, and that doesn’t include a shape shifting unicorn who insists that she is his mate and the only key to his survival and getting his waning powers returned to him. This can be negotiated…right? Not wanting to be anyone’s mate but also not wanting to be responsible for the death of a unicorn, she will pose as his mate and go with him across fae territory to the Heart of Wells in the golden grotto. Once his powers are restored and the magic binding them severed then it’s contract fulfilled and she can get back on track. No problem. Now if only she can just get rid of the rag tag band of fairies out for a nibble on blood infused with unicorn magic and make it there in one piece. She is prepared for anything except falling in love. Eliph, like most unicorns, has waited centuries to find his mare, his perfect mate. He will allow her to think that there is escape but she will soon find out that fae matings, especially among unicorns, are forever.
ONLY THE BURIED (A DEATH GATE GRIM REAPERS THRILLER BOOK 6) by Amanda M Lee
VS Note: The cover was too offputting for me.
Izzy Sage was looking for answers when she took a job as keeper of the death gate in Detroit. Unfortunately, the answers being delivered aren’t what she was hoping for. Personal worries have to take a backseat, though, because the reaper world is in an uproar. News that their former leader Renley Hatfield was working with the enemy has spread, but that doesn’t mean the good guys can trust everybody that’s left. With that in mind, Cormack Grimlock has closed ranks. Only those in their inner circle are allowed access to all the information. Sadly, there is very little information to go around. Despite that, Belle Isle is hopping with activity thanks to an influx of furries who are running rampant across the island for a local convention. Even the mysterious death of one of their own in the waters off the yacht club doesn’t dampen their enthusiasm. Izzy isn’t convinced that the death is an accident but they don’t have proof otherwise, so she looks elsewhere for adventure…(more blurb on ebook seller page…)

His werewolf senses howl to life and he’s certain of one thing: Stasia is his. She’s sick of cocky men. When her wealthy father hires a bodyguard, Stasia says no. Not exactly a smart move after someone tried to nab her off the street. But she doesn’t need a babysitter. Especially not a cheerfully overbearing bodyguard who makes her heart pound and her fantasies run wild. When Stasia is yanked out of her glittering world and into Owen’s she’ll need to grapple with an impossible new reality that includes werewolves, silver bullets, and fated mates. Is she ready to embrace her new world? Or will she run back to a universe of glittering high rises and leave her destiny behind?
I’m a half-breed, a Cursed. The wolf half gets me an alpha for a fated mate…the witch half gets me killed. Or so they think. Now four Viking Alphas are all that stand between me and certain death. They need my powers to take over the Savage Sector, and they’ll hold my sisters’ as leverage until they get what they want from me. My wild magic, my heart. My wolf calls to them, but I can’t trust them to keep me alive once this is over. I’m just an Omega to them, but that mistake may cost us all our lives What the Viking Alphas want, the Viking Alphas get……and right now that’s me and my wild magic.
I’m fine being the pack wallflower until my fated mate rejects me, sending me off to lick my wounds with my sister’s pack. I build a comfortable life with the new pack, content to settle where I am as I ward off suitors whose interest isn’t entirely noble. Until my presence puts the pack in danger. My only choice is to run, but I don’t count on an overzealous shifter forcing me onto the pack land of Alpha Dominic himself. It’s been three years since he rejected me, but my wolf seems to think it never happened at all. Now, I’m desperate to run again, even if it means accepting life as a rogue. But Dominic has other ideas, and he’s happy to keep me in his pack house against my will until I’m ready to comply. When my family’s forgotten legacy is recovered—bringing a rush of power I didn’t know I had—I have to decide if it’s easier working with the Alpha or against him. After all, the fates don’t take kindly to being ignored. And Dominic and I? We’re double-fated.
Sarah’s father is overreacting, but try telling him that. She knows he blames himself for the brutal attack that nearly ended her life. That’s the only reason she’ll play along and let some ugly old fart take care of her as she recuperates in a Podunk town in the middle of nowhere. Only, it turns out that the “old fart” is not that old, and he’s definitely not ugly. In fact, he’s the epitome of scorching heat and raw masculinity. Recently retired from military service, the last thing Ghost wants is to play nursemaid to a spoiled, bratty princess who has no idea that shifters like him even exist. Tyriel, the half-breed daughter of an elvish prince and a Wildling lady, had heard it said that a union between an angel and an incubus would have been more likely than the love match between her parents. VS Note: Nonfiction but intriguing. I figure we have many LOTR fans here!
The surprising and illuminating look at how Tolkien’s love of science and natural history shaped the creation of his Middle Earth, from its flora and fauna to its landscapes. The world J.R.R. Tolkien created is one of the most beloved in all of literature, and continues to capture hearts and imaginations around the world. From Oxford to ComiCon, the Middle Earth is analyzed and interpreted through a multitude of perspectives. But one essential facet of Tolkien and his Middle Earth has been overlooked: science. This great writer, creator of worlds and unforgettable character, and inventor of language was also a scientific autodidact, with an innate interest and grasp of botany, paleontologist and geologist, with additional passions for archeology and chemistry.
Tolkien was an acute observer of flora and fauna and mined the minds of his scientific friends about ocean currents and volcanoes. It is these layers science that give his imaginary universe—and the creatures and characters that inhabit it—such concreteness. Within this gorgeously illustrated edition, a range of scientists—from astrophysicists to physicians, botanists to volcanologists—explore Tolkien’s novels, poems, and letters to reveal their fascinating scientific roots. A rewarding combination of literary exploration and scientific discovery, The Science of Middle Earth reveals the hidden meaning of the Ring’s corruption, why Hobbits have big feet, the origins of the Dwarves, the animals which inspired the dragons, and even whether or not an Ent is possible. Enhanced by superb original drawings, this transportive work will delight both Tolkien fans and science lovers and inspire us to view both Middle Earth—and our own world—with fresh eyes.

The title “Queen of the Labyrinth” doesn’t come with a crown. It comes with a bright red target on my back. There’s a hit list circulating the prison offering up large sums of cash for our deaths—me and all of my men. Assassins, serial killers, and murderers… They’re all coming out of the woodwork to collect their prize. Even a queen and her kings can’t fight off an entire army. Escape is our only option if we want to survive. No one has ever made it out of the Labyrinth alive, not with the deadly traps and cold-blooded monsters roaming the tunnels. And if that isn’t enough, we also have new challenges to contend with—mysterious voices, a door that likes to disappear, and a new guy with interesting abilities trying to insert himself into our lives. Either we die as shunned royalty…Or we die fighting for our lives. This time around, I think we might actually leave Nightmare Penitentiary in body bags. This is the 130,000 word sequel to Blindly Indicted. You must read Blindly Indicted in order to understand this book. This contains strong language, sexual situations, and a reverse harem romance.

On Halloween night, I cast the perfect spell to call my soul mate, not expecting there’s actually more than one. And each with his own set of problems. Now I have three wolf shifters all wanting to claim me: Jackson, the Alpha with a gorgeous face, muscular body, and a jealous streak a mile long; Billy, Jackson’s broody, bad boy cousin; and Darren part warlock, mostly wolf shifter, and all sweetheart. Sounds great…until you know the whole story. See, wolf shifters aren’t exactly best friends with witches. I’m not sure why they hate us so much, but if this trio finds out I used magic to bring us together, how am I going to convince them what we feel is real? And not just the effects of the spell.
Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined my new reality. Sure, my skills were more than enough to ensure my acceptance into the Elite Warriors–my badassery was never in question. However, I didn’t expect to be told that I was a weapon, forged by the goddesses themselves, to protect the balance between darkness and light. Oh, and I certainly didn’t predict the gift of six sworn guardians—six incredibly powerful, god-level-attractive, possessive guardians. The kicker? In order to become the weapon foretold, I will need to bond with each one. Sounds fun right? Well let me assure you, after only meeting four of them, they are proving to be more than I can handle, and I’ve not even met the final two. The fifth has been imprisoned for the past two decades, tortured by the rebel force, and the sixth, is the man he needs saving from. Will my soul ever be complete, or will I always remain The Broken Vessel?

But a life with Khian would mean leaving the court and giving up all that she’s worked so hard to attain. As she goes about her duties, Tuya struggles with her heart’s desires.
When Tuya is lured into a dangerous part of Thebes by her disgraced half-brother and kidnapped by unknown enemies of Egypt, Khian becomes her only hope. Pharaoh assigns him to bring the lady home.
Aided by the gods, Khian races into the desert on the trail of the elusive kidnappers, hoping to find Tuya before it’s too late. Neither of them has any idea of the dark forces arrayed against them, nor the obstacles to be faced. An ancient evil from the long gone past wants to claim Tuya for its own purposes and won’t relinquish her easily.
Can Khian find her in time? Will he and his uncanny allies be able to prevent her death? And if the couple escapes and reaches safety, what of their fledgling romance?
LINKS TO RECENT NEW RELEASES POSTS from Veronica:
“New” is generally plus or minus a week or two. I try to catch up on ones I missed in recent months. And I may mention ‘special items’.
I do NOT cover every single new release in SFR/FantasyR/PNR. I never have. That would be an impossible task for any human! I assemble my list by hand every week based on various informal inputs, and I do curate the list to some extent…
Some authors aren’t in KU but still don’t list books with Apple or other platforms. This report is very time consuming to prepare so I’ve always had to limit myself and cannot go and look up every book on all the platforms. If an author gives me their other buy links, I include them here but generally I develop the post on my own, not from author-supplied information. I curate and prepare this post individually every week to help connect readers/books/authors and I have to be very careful not to give it so much time as an activity that I don’t write my own novels! Thanks for the feedback and happy reading!
I check and verify all the buy links at the time I create the post but after that I’m not responsible.
