New Release Book Recommendation: DEAR EDWARD by Anne Napolitano
VS Note: I don’t often recommend books here that aren’t SFR/F/PNR but this one is SO GOOD. I read it in one sitting and found it very satisfying as a story (there’s a supermild romantic element towards the end). Plane crashes, orphaned children and tragic situations are not usually my thing but this book grabbed me and would not let go. 5 stars from me, definitely. It’s quite an emotional journey.
One summer morning, twelve-year-old Edward Adler, his beloved older brother, his parents, and 183 other passengers board a flight in Newark headed for Los Angeles. Among them are a Wall Street wunderkind, a young woman coming to terms with an unexpected pregnancy, an injured veteran returning from Afghanistan, a business tycoon, and a free-spirited woman running away from her controlling husband.
