VS: Continuing on through my ancient Egyptian paranormal romance backlist, I wrote a direct sequel for Nima, my dancer, entitled RETURN OF THE DANCER OF THE NILE. Nima and Kamin are one of my favorite couples and I’d had a scene in my head forever, where Nima is screaming at Pharaoh that Kamin is not, cannot be dead. The plot goes from there. I always challenge myself to tell a fresh story each time, so Renenutet the Snake Goddess appears, but briefly, and I had the best time bringing another member of the pantheon into the mix. I also added in a member of the Medjai, Pharaoh’s police and the goddess Ma’at’s enforcers of justice.
RETURN OF DANCER OF THE NILE
Nima, formerly a tavern dancer in the land of the Nile, has settled into the leisurely life of her dreams as the pampered, beloved wife to a high ranking general who’s also a member of Pharaoh’s court. She’s sworn never to dance for anyone else but Kamin, the man she loves.
