Garek: With my clan threatened, I don’t have time for romance with a pesky Earth female. Until I meet Piper. She and her youngling son are part of our planet’s new settlement. Soon, I find myself helping her plan her home and talking about odd Earthling activities. What is a square dance, and must I do it? She’s soft and lush in all the right places, and I could pick her up and carry her around with one arm. And her son… I ache to show him how to tame a mighty winged trundier. Piper may say she doesn’t need love, but I’ll do whatever it takes to win her heart. Piper: I brought my eight-year-old son to Ferlaern to start anew–the new wild west, we’re calling this planet. The other women want romance but not me. Then I meet Garek, a seven-foot-tall, gruff warrior who’s out to steal my heart. Burned in the past, I’m afraid to trust. Never mind that he makes my son laugh for the first time in forever or that his kisses… Not going there. But when our settlement’s attacked by vicious creatures, it’ll take both of us to survive the threat.

Long have we been alone. Without brides, without females to warm us during the long nights. Without sweet mates. But we see them, from afar, brides that could be ours. Kept away from us by walls and weapons. Females we long for greatly. Obsessively. Human females. And the one with red hair? I want her. I saw her first. I will fight to the death for her. She is MINE. So, we’ll come together and make an exchange with their men that will benefit us all. After that? To the winner goes the spoils…Let the hunt begin. But the red-headed female is MINE.
Bet-Nawa has never encountered an enemy he couldn’t defeat. When a partnership between the human alliance and the Lexar leads to new marines boarding their vessel, he’s surprised to find one of their commanders is half-Lexar herself. A traumatic childhood took Svetlana from one foster home to the next until one human family finally gave her a chance. Her birth records, as well as the truth of her background, are sealed behind military confidentiality. When her new duties land her aboard the Exemplar leading a squad of highly trained Marines, Svetlana knows the top brass chose her for her Lexar blood. If working alongside the Lexar is hell, an assignment with the hottest warrior she’s ever met may be heaven. With his presence alone, Bet-Nawa awakens urges Svetlana has never dared to embrace. Together, they’re an unstoppable force against an immovable object. She won’t give in; he won’t give up.

Now I resent his arrogant personality and avoid him at all costs. When Thor disappears to get away from the intense pressure of being the heir to the Northlands, his father asks Linea to use her tracking skills and deliver an ultimatum to his heir. Linea knows Thor will be furious and blame her as the messenger. She’ll have to face him anyway and prove to herself that she’s no longer a young, infatuated girl, but a strong and unapologetic woman who owns the quirkiness he once ridiculed her for. Problem is that the last time she saw the large and angry Nman, Thor threatened to spank her if she came back. He wouldn’t though… or would he?
I was a queen in my past life, and I fell in love with my guard. All the queens before me had harems, both for protection and to help them wield their elemental powers. I was the first to refuse this, wanting only one man to be mine. It led to my death. Now fate has granted me a second chance. Five men are destined to become my guards and join my harem. But a prophecy says that one of my guards is destined to betray me. As Kian’s blue eyes stare up into mine, my soul instantly recognizes his. He is my beloved and I cannot fight him or forsake him, even if he is the one who might lead me to my death. As I search for the final gemstone to save and restore the balance between two worlds, I have to decide: Can I trust the man who might betray me?
Prince Tirus has spent years digging to expose the poison at the heart of the Empire. But a chance encounter with a human school teacher from a primitive planet throws all of his plans into disarray. Her very touch is enough to set his skin burning, and release the beast in his blood that has been locked away for generations. Is her presence the greatest gift the universe could give him, or a tool to be used by his enemies? Matilde wants so much more. More than the crumbs of knowledge left for her planet by its founders, for the children she teaches. More than the quiet life in the background she’s been relegated to by her family. At Tirus’ side, there’s a new universe of possibilities. But every one of those possibilities comes with unknown dangers. And despite the urges of her body, Tirus himself tops the list.
Clara is sitting in a cage, balanced precariously on the spire of a skyscraper. Most people would be scared, but Clara is used to all of this by now. Her alien overlords love to manipulate the brains of their test subjects, and then drop them into impossible situations. With Clara’s new-and-improved telekinetic abilities, she can keep the cage balanced as long as she stays calm. No small feat when the wind blows hard. As she sways to and fro atop her tall tower, Clara tells herself stories; tales of a strong, gentle knight with a heart of gold who will save her from this mess. Little does she know, her knight is already on his way. Unlike his curious friend Jessek, Corm is a warrior first; if there is not a mission to be completed, it does not interest him. Which is why he came to Earth in the first place; rescuing Laurie’s little sister sounded like a challenge. But when Corm arrives, he finds that Laurie’s “little” sister is not so little, and the battle he needs to fight is more diplomatic than military. To save Clara, he will have to give more than his body; he will have to give his very soul.

Dutiful. Diligent. Meek. Vilya knew well what was expected of a daughter of Yarrow. To keep her eyes lowered, her words soft, her hands committed in their work. Lakin left the small human colony on Develia Station with big dreams to make a difference in the universe. The ships she works on tend to run on the edge of legality by smuggling supplies and sometimes operate totally illegally by transporting refugees or runaway slaves. It was on one such illegal job that she gives herself up so everyone else can get away. She ends up in the hands of a powerful species called the Talin. At first tortured and abused, then later coddled and cared for, she’s not sure what to make of this species. First, they’re brutal and then they’re kind. And the humans she meets all seem to adore their Talin owners. Distrustful and constantly looking for a route to escape, she becomes acquainted with a Talin named Dalt, an ex-soldier with demons of his own. Soon she finds herself embroiled in a civil conflict among the Talin. Picking sides is easy; proving she can be an asset is a little harder. Figuring out if she can live under Talin law as a pet or need to escape and leave Dalt behind is the hardest part.

If he can’t figure a way out of this before the ship lands, he’s doomed to an execution in front of the one the Chaltor call “Master”. But in the cell across from his is the most beautiful, sassy female he’s ever laid eyes on. Her curves entice and excite him, and even though he can’t touch her, his whole body yearns to make her his mate. The Chaltor believe the woman in the cell is Princess Anne, a human of royal blood. But Nina is anything but royal. No amount of begging, screaming, or attempts at reason have worked, and now she’s dressed in a metal chastity body suit on her way to be bred by an alien Master. It’s not all bad though, because the alien beast of a man across the way assures her that he’s going to save her, even though his fate is just as bad as hers. Escaping is only the beginning of their adventure. Chevro knows that the mate markings they share mean more than clumsy fate, and he plans on convincing her just how perfect they are for each other. That is, if she doesn’t demand he takes her back to Earth first.
I have better things to do than babysit a human. And her cat. The new Ambassador, and her kitten, Luna. (Short for Lunatic.) Yes, seriously. I, Jehan D’arana, Shield of Gehar, have been reduced to guarding a cat. Then I meet the Ambassador, and everything changes. Because she isn’t a stranger. She’s my ex. Keomi Hearne. The woman that got away. The woman I want more than ever. But every time I try to be alone with Keomi, her kitten is there. Watching me with a sinister sneer as I make my move. Tripping me up. Dive-bombing me from the top of a cupboard and scratching my face. (Not that a Gehar warrior would ever think to complain about a little blood.) And then, the situation goes from bad to worse. Someone’s seriously trying to kill Keomi. Her work is sabotaged. Her staff is poisoned, and her skimmer is blown up. This assignment just got very real. I am Jehan D’arana, Shield of Gehar. No matter what the wickedly adorable kitten may think, I’m in charge. Nothing is going to keep me from protecting the woman I love.

If I tell you I have magic, you’re probably going to expect all kinds of impressive displays, like fireballs and moving things with my mind. Yeah, I still can’t do that. Especially when one of my regulars goes missing. I’m never one to stand on the sidelines when a friend’s in trouble, so of course I go looking for him.
You’d be amazed how quickly I can get in over my head. And given my weak magic, it’s definitely not a comfortable position.

Finding love is hard when your family has psychic gifts you have to hide. Just ask Max and Gwen Dréville. Max talks to animals. Falling for the local dairy farmer’s daughter was probably not his best plan. Then there’s Gwen. Will she let handsome playboy Arthur Castiel seduce her, or will she turn her gift on him, tossing him into a nightmare of his worst fears?

The Monterreys hired wolf shifter Toby as a ranch hand. And me? The head of security. Which meant that it was my job to protect them. Toby had a hidden agenda. I couldn’t tell if his heart was pure.
But he didn’t just teach me how to ride a horse. He also claimed me as his. I was obsessed with him, but the secrets between us drove us apart. Ultimately, it was his choice to make. Sacrifice me and continue his destructive mission or…Give our love a second chance and fight the world together.
The team is everything. The team is sacred. And I have found mine. We’ve done the impossible: we escaped the Pit. We’ve fled to the Ruined Lands to hide from the Warden, the Empire’s bounty hunters and to make certain I don’t give birth to a Pit-bred monster. ScatheFire is alive, but his soul somewhere else. And Atrament has some pretty crazy ideas about what I am, and how to stabilize my magic once and for all. But our survival and my magic means nothing, because the price of all of it has turned the Fells into criminals, not heroes. They’ve paid for my freedom with their own. To clear our names, we’ll have to put together the pieces of Atrament’s past, the truth about what I really am, and force someone powerful to answer for all of it. We’re on the run and we’re on the hunt, and we can’t afford a single mistake, or we’ll all end up back in the Pit.
He shattered my heart all those years ago. A fact that I’ll never forgive him for. A fact that I’ve run from since forever. But the fact is, I can’t run any longer…I’m right here in his house, taking care of his kid. I want to leave but I have no choice. I want to walk out but my legs won’t cooperate.
And I can feel exactly where this is going …He’s drawing me into his arms like he used to.
He’s making me drown in his eyes like he used to. All of those bittersweet memories are coming back to me. And I know one thing for sure…Ignoring the temptation that is Cole could, quite possibly, end up killing me.
I was an exorcist, one of the best. When things got hot, I got out. I wasn’t fast enough, and I ended up with nothing but my parents’ old pizza parlor. Then my ex-best friend Darius wandered back into my life needing my skills. Innocent lives were in danger and I couldn’t say no. That dragged me deeper into the occult than I ever thought possible, and I can’t see a way back out. There’s upheaval in the demonic world and it’s spilling onto Earth and into my life; including stealing away my incubus boyfriend. I thought I’d accidentally banished Sabian back to Hell, along with the demonic prince, Ezra, who’d been possessing me at the time. Turns out, the enemy snatched my incubus away from me as leverage in the upcoming war. Mal, my vampire boyfriend, and I try to summon both Sabian and the demon prince, failing at every turn. When we’re at our wits’ end, Prince Ezra shows up in person with an offer I can’t refuse: help him with a small task and he’ll take me to Hell to rescue my incubus. Terrifying? Sure, but what isn’t these days? Even more frightening are the feelings tugging me ever closer to Ezra. If I get out of this with my relationships and my soul intact, it’ll be worth the price I’ve paid to get Sabian back.
My freedom has come at a cost. Anyone who cares about me will be hurt by the true nature of my power. To protect the ones I love, I must push them away. Only Tristan Masters may stand beside me, but his fate is closing in as fast as my options are running out. Surrounded by enemies, our hope lies in a secret that has been guarded for millennia—the truth about Tristan’s past. He is my future, but he could just as easily be my end. My heart is already broken. Now I must risk my mind and soul to save us both. This dark wolf will break free.
Dorian Gray’s painting was never in the vault of the library. We currently have no idea where it is and the only person who can track it is probably being held hostage in a storage yard with all kinds of cursed objects. Balthazar’s dick is still cursed and there’s no easy way to remove it. I already made it worse once. I hope it doesn’t fall off this time. I was totally against marrying Reyson when he woke up and announced I would be his new wife, but my resolve on that is starting to weaken. I’m starting to care for the damned god. The only people who know where Dorian’s painting is at are Dorian and Bram’s demon master. Even if we find Dorian, we can’t kill him without his painting. I know better than anyone that when a witch really doesn’t want you getting into their things, the results are usually fatal. I get we need the demon overlord, but if we are all risking our lives to get him out of that trap, he’d better grant Bram his freedom because I like having that Hellhound around.
Gemma Brown has problems. For one, demons are after her—demons that want to kill her. To make matters worse, her sister Mira is missing. And demons are after her too. Gemma does have a few things going for her. One: she has magic. And two: she’s just been crowned Queen of Pentacles—by her soulmate Ethan. As queen, she’s been gifted a new kind of magic—magic over the fifth element: time. So while she can’t solve her problems in the present, she can travel back to the past. Which gives her the power to change everything.
I was known as Fenrir the Destroyer, the taker of lives and castles, a brutal Viking warrior in the Kingdom of Kaldir. My kingdom. My name traveled far and wide, and those who heard it knew their place… accepted their fear above all else. I had riches beyond measure, my followers countless and loyal. But I was missing the most crucial part of my reign, of my ruling. A wife. My queen. A mother to my warrior sons and princess daughters. But there’s only one female who tempted my eye and made me yearn for more. And for years I coveted her and her alone, waited until I could provide for her without fail. My Prima. She’d once been a young sapling barely reaching my thighs, but she’d grown into a mature woman full of curves that made me ache. She was the female I knew would make my filthiest fantasies come true. Prima was so small, tiny compared to me, and every protective instinct I had rose up with a vengeance strong enough to level anything in its path. I’d always protect her without fail. She was mine, no matter what. And when timid, inexperienced Prima was finally brought to me—my conquest after years of being alone—I was a selfish bastard and wouldn’t deny myself from claiming her. In the end, she’d surrender. Because beneath her uncertainty and innocence was a wildfire I was ready to let burn me alive.
A year ago, everything was different. I had just left my home, joining the infamous Mountainside Pack. The daughter of an omega wolf, I’ve always been prized—but not as prized as I would be if my new packmates found out my secret. But when my fated mate—Mountainside’s Alpha—rejected me in front of his whole pack council and my secret got out, I realized I had one choice. Going lone wolf was the only option I had, and I took it. Now I live in Muncie, hiding in plain sight. If the wolves ever left the mountains surrounding the city, I’d be in big trouble. Good thing that the truce between the vampires and my people is shaky at best and Muncie? It’s total vamp territory. Thanks to my new vamp roomie, I get a pass, and I try to forget all about the call of the wolf. It’s tough, though. I… I just can’t forget my embarrassment—and my anger—from that night. And then he shows up and my chance at forgetting flies out the damn window. Ryker Wolfson. He was supposed to be my fated mate, but he chose his pack over our bond. At least, he did—but now that he knows what I’ve been hiding, he wants me back. But doesn’t he remember? I told him I’ll never be his mate, and there isn’t a single thing he can do to change my mind. To Ryker, that sounds like a challenge. And if there’s one thing I know about wolf shifters, it’s that they can never resist a challenge. Just like I’m finding it more difficult than I should to resist him.
I didn’t choose this life, but it’s still the only one I’ve got. Made by corrupt magic, sent to die, then saved and adopted by the local pack. I wasn’t born a wolf shifter, but I’m one of them now. And I’m prepared to fight at their side against the evil organization that will stop at nothing to extinguish our kind. I’ve found a family and I’ve found love with my very own fated mate, the irresistible pack Beta.
But if I’m not careful, I can lose it all. One wrong move is all it will take…The Hunters are coming for us, and they play dirty.
Hey, y’all. It’s me, Darcy Valentine. I’m still enjoying a fabulous, never-ending first date with my sexy vampire boyfriend Storm. Can you believe we’re coming up on ten months? Yep, we go together like toast and jam. He’s still helping me with the B&B I run inside the warded walls of the quirky, ancestral castle I call home with the rest of the special family my mama and I built with the motley group of weirdos who live here with us. Lordy, do I ever have a story to tell you. First off, I wanna caution you to be wary if a friend shows up on your doorstep in the wee hours… that goes double if they’re shirtless, bloody, and carrying a newborn baby who’s not supposed to be alive. Watch out ‘cuz the next thing you know, there’ll be a baby living in your house while you try to find the li’l darlin’ a forever home. And if that happens, keep your eyes peeled for the child’s blood kin… especially if they’re vicious shifters with no home training. First rule of fostering a baby—don’t get attached. Rule two, don’t name the child, no matter how much you’re tempted. It’s okay to refer to the munchkin as “the baby,” but nothing else because that’s a fast track to breaking rule number one. Rule three, if you have a pushy mama like I do, don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself. She doesn’t get to choose when you become a parent! And if the Nana-to-be gets in your head… try referring back to rule one.
Rules for my midlife crisis: 1. Leave my a-hole ex—Check 2. Move to a small town—Check 3. Stay far away from men—Oops Seems like an easy enough plan. But rule number three goes up in smoke when I move in next to a hot, young firefighter who, despite our first disastrous meeting, seems to have a thing for me. I do my best to resist the pull I feel. He’s a lot younger, and I’m still licking my wounds from my previous relationship. You know what they say about once bitten, twice shy … especially when there’s an actual wolf shifter involved. But he’s persistent and patient, and so gorgeous, and I find more pleasure with him in one night than the entirety of my past lovers combined. When I unknowingly lead dangerous forces to our sleepy town the Alpha orders all shifters on deck, that includes my wolf. I can only hope we both make it out alive and we get our happy ever after.
The Country Music Star – I am in love with a bear shifter Who stood me up on prom night –The night he was supposed to propose. I took my love and my broken heart to Tennessee, And lived all of my dreams as a country music star. All my dreams, except for one. Death brought me face to face with the shifter again who broke my heart. Can I risk letting him in again? Will one night together be enough to last a lifetime? The Bear Shifter – I gave up my only love So she could follow her dreams. But, night after night her vision haunts me. Until the vision becomes a reality Appearing in person in front of my eyes. Danger followed her home. The bear and the man inside of me is ever protective Over the woman who has lived within my heart forever. The war inside of me is tearing me apart. How can I keep her and make her walk away from her dreams? How can I let her go and give up mine? Can the Bear Shifter give up the life he knows to marry the woman who sang her way into his heart?

LINKS TO RECENT NEW RELEASES POSTS from Veronica:
“New” is generally plus or minus a week or two. I try to catch up on ones I missed in recent months. And I may mention ‘special items’.
I do NOT cover every single new release in SFR/FantasyR/PNR. I never have. That would be an impossible task for any human! I assemble my list by hand every week based on various informal inputs, and I do curate the list to some extent…
Some authors aren’t in KU but still don’t list books with Apple or other platforms. This report is very time consuming to prepare so I’ve always had to limit myself and cannot go and look up every book on all the platforms. If an author gives me their other buy links, I include them here but generally I develop the post on my own, not from author-supplied information. I curate and prepare this post individually every week to help connect readers/books/authors and I have to be very careful not to give it so much time as an activity that I don’t write my own novels! Thanks for the feedback and happy reading!
I check and verify all the buy links at the time I create the post but after that I’m not responsible.
